Tuna-Salad 0 #1 May 21, 2008 Just thinking how cool it might be to jump out of the bomb bay of an old B-17 or B29 or something. Any one else ever considered or thought about this or am I delusional?Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night. I do have two bomb bay door exits from the pink flamingo porter of Drop Zone fame over Gold Coast Skydivers when it was in Moss Point. Those were priceless (although a very reasonable cost)."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
Tuna-Salad 0 #4 May 21, 2008 Any bomb bay type exit would be nice, Those are the only 2 aircraft that came to mind. Except a B-52Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.

aresye 0 #6 May 21, 2008 Screw a bomb bay, I'd love to be attached to a weapon pylon by some kind of harness. Pilot: "Okay, and firing jumper #1..."Skydiving: You either learn from other's mistakes, or they'll learn from yours.

marcandalysse 0 #9 May 21, 2008 The B-17 came by regularly to zhills when johnny gates was around, he was a sponsor of the plane. They were in Fl in February this year. happythoughts 0 #10 May 21, 2008 Schedule The Collings Foundation has a B17 that you can jump from. It tours Florida during the winter months. There is a bomb bay exit, but it's narrow. When I did it with a couple of friends, it was $350 per person. Now it is $400. It's one of those things to say, "been there, done that" and you don't need to do again, so I tried it once. Tuna-Salad 0 #11 May 21, 2008 No belly flop, i was talkin about being attached to a pylon on the aircraft as it was being shot off the deck.. then dropped..Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.
futuredivot 0 #12 May 21, 2008 With the Collings Foundation you have to have a full load of jumpers. They can't fly it with less and can't open the doors with non jumpers on the ride. futuredivot 0 #17 June 10, 2008 The 24 isn't allowed any more. The FAA considered it an experimental aircraft-never mind the fact that it still holds the record of the most produced military aircraft of all time You are only as strong as the prey you devour
