RB_Hammer 0 #1 February 13, 2008 Has anyone else been watching this? I was a little intrigued by the promos, so I set my DVR to record it. After the first 3 episodes, I have to say, this is a really good series. I have had emotions from hurt the belly laughing to getting teared up. Really good stuff."I'm not lost. bigway 4 #2 February 13, 2008 I was just going to post about this. That guy has to be one of the greatest television actors there is. This is an excellent tv show. I look forward to more episodes. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
gavi_omen 0 #3 February 13, 2008 I've been following it as well. I think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. That may seem kind of short-sighted, but compare it to the crap that shows up on the networks. From what I understand they've only made 7 or 9 episodes and currently it's not filming because of the writer's strike. Which is, to say the least, quite unfortunate. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.
bigway 4 #4 February 13, 2008 When i first realised it was that father from Malcolm in the middle i thought it would be quirky... Only watched it cause i have read that he is actually a great actor.... Turns out he is... HE is excellent in this show. It was like the part was made for him. The directing is excellent, i think. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

rapter 0 #6 February 13, 2008 You know, I've been watching it and can't really get into it, I find parts enteraining, But I'm no overly excited about it. Only the good die young, so I have found immortality,
bigway 4 #7 February 13, 2008 I think there is more to come from it. That's the impression i get anyway. I hope there is more to it than just what's going on at the moment. That can't last long, surely. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
RB_Hammer 0 #8 February 13, 2008 Yeah, I agree there will be more. The ratings have been very good for a cable network series. Certainly much more entertaining that some of the other new stuff, like "Smash Lab". I think they asked viewers their favorite parts of "Myth Busters" and most must have said, "When the blow/sink/smash/break stuff", and that is where they got the idea for that show."I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

Shotgun 1 #10 February 14, 2008 I watched the first three episodes last night. It was good, and funny in parts, but it was disturbing to me on some really deep level. I guess it's meant to be that way though. But I can't really put my finger on what was so disturbing. I think that the main guy is just such a good actor that I could really feel his angst, and it made me uncomfortable, yet I watched it anyway. And I'll probably continue watching the series. Though I think in the future, I'll follow it up with something more light-hearted, so that I don't spend all night having dreams about people smoking meth and stuff like that. airdvr 200 #14 February 15, 2008 I watched the marathon this week and now I can't wait for Sunday night. This is so much better than the drivel you normailly get. It's dark and funny at times, but a very real concept. Shows like this one, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me get my vote over the mindless sitcom crap. Please don't dent the planet. RB_Hammer 0 #15 February 15, 2008 QuoteShows like this one, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me get my vote over the mindless sitcom crap. You got that right. "Nip/Tuck" is absolutely hilarious. I can't remember an episode where I didn't say, "Wow, didn't see that coming." "Breaking Bad" seems just as compelling as Nip/Tuck, but I have not felt the emotions I have watching "Breaking Bad". The last episode I laughed so hard I felt it in my belly as well as felt the tears when Walter realizes that Crazy 8 was playing him."I'm not lost. gavi_omen 0 #16 February 18, 2008 What did you guys think of tonight's episode? bigway 4 #17 February 18, 2008 It is what is known as a 'filler' episode. They cant have ever episode full of action, so to spread it out they have an episode every now and then to slow things down getting ready for a 'new' big story to start next week. I liked it, It was good to get to know the other character and his background instead of just hanks background (or whatever his name is). One thing, I am starting to see how great an actor he really is in each and every episode. HE really is brilliant. For a guy to play that eccentric guy in malcolm in the middle and then this dark scared man is excellent skill. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

lawrocket 3 #19 May 25, 2009 I seriously am into the show. And I think the reason why is that I can identify with so many of the characters. Walt? the goody good who broke bad - I think, "What if I did that?" And even more amazing is how he gets off on it. It occurred to me a couple of weeks ago that he's like Michael Corleone - just slowly working his way into being a Godfather. And then my favorite character is Hank. The image of cool, calm and competence and inside he's just freaking out. Yes, I feel like that on occasion. Jesse is a druggie but is probably the most warm hearted person on the show. Then the new character, Saul, who is actually Irish but feels that clients are more comfortable with a Jewish lawyer so he changed his last name to Goodman (I swear, they've got some serious public defender working as an advisor in this show). I love this program because it seriously has me asking myself, "What if?" Knowing I never would, but that morbid fascination. Like, "What kinda porn actor would I be?" "What kind of drug henchman would I be?" My wife is hotter than your wife.

Shotgun 1 #21 May 25, 2009 I still love this show too, but I'm a few episodes behind right now because I haven't had time to watch it. (The last one I saw was the "I'm no skank" episode with the two junkies and the kid - thought it was very good.) I'll have to have a Breaking Bad marathon once school is out and watch the remaining episodes. You've got me trying to figure out why I like the show so much, and I really don't know. I don't get the "what if" feeling that you're talking about (maybe my life has been too wild ), and I don't really relate to any of the characters either. I think it's just a fun show to watch - and a bit disturbing too, but only enough to keep me coming back. And my other favorite show is Weeds, so now I'm wondering why my two favorite shows are about drug dealers. I'm pretty sure I have no fascination with drugs or drug dealers, so I guess it's just a coincidence.

lawrocket 3 #23 May 25, 2009 That's the thing. My life has not been wild. The furthest thing from it. I feel like "Mr. White" because I am who he was. And seeing someone do stuff that I'd never do is just fascinating. When I thought this was a great show with great writing and great acting was the "intervention" scene last season. I saw that and thought, "Yeah." My wife is hotter than your wife.

Yeah, that was a great scene. I particularly liked Hank in that one. He's probably my favorite character too. Have you seen the "minisodes" on AMC's website? http://blogs.amctv.com/breaking-bad/2009/02/original-minisodes.php "Wedding Day" is pretty funny, and "Good Cop, Bad Cop" is funny too. sundevil777 94 #25 May 25, 2009 I didn't understand the start of an episode from a couple weeks ago. They had been doing a bit of foreshadowing, or whatever it is called, guys in hazmat suits were gathering stuff around the Aztec including a bloody teddy bear I think. They never seemed to show what that was all about at the end of the episode like they usually do. Can anyone explain what that was all about?People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
