Project : 1975 K5 Blazer woody

Recommended Posts

I always admired the old woody station wagons, and didn't see any more being built in Detroit's future.....so I made my own. Didn't cost a lot of cash, but took a lot more man-hours than I thought it would.

Body work and paint are next, and by next spring I'll have a local metal fabricator make removable roof, side, and back panels. Then I'll modify some canvas half-doors from a Jeep CJ7.

LOVE the hood scoop!

Back in the later 80's someone had a wood body Jeep that I saw a few times at the Herd Boogie. Some of the old farts from United would know who I'm thinking of...

Never been a fan of wood + cars. sorry. [:/]

Automobiles should be metal, glass, rubber & leather.

I do say, Damn fine work tho! B|

All depends on what you like. :)

Hey, deck stain & waterproofing is cheaper than paint & wax! B|
