I don't see the problem. He's asking if you have for sale 100 DV tapes and how much you charge for them. Then he asked what the shipping costs would be to his zip code.

He wants to know what it will cost him before he decides to order. The grammar doesn't sound like an english-speaking person but it sure doesn't sound like any scam (yet) to me.

No. Typically you'll lose the entire shipment and not be compensated in any way if it's the scam I think it is.

That is the same kind of scam that ran up over $1000 on my AmEx a couple years ago.

The really stupid part was they gave the vendor:
- An AmEx card with a billing address in CO.
- A phone number with an area code in OH.
- A shipping address in ME.

And the idiot vendor took the order and shipped it.

Stolen credit cards being used to ship merchandise to drop spots where someone may or may not pick up the items. If they get picked up then they can resell locally or they can ship overseas to have it sold there. If the items are not picked up they just pile up at the location until FedEx/UPS stops delivering there anymore.

Dateline did a story on this a long time ago. Basically since its stolen payment from the beginning even if only a fraction of the sellers ship anything its just pure profit for the end person. They ship to specific drop locations where they may have unknowing parties signing and forwarding the packages with out knowing their contents.
