I can't tell if the video is slowed down to create an illusion of that happening or if it is real. I imagine the headwind required to do that would be enormous.

I didn't see anything remarkable in that vid. A big a/c going 100 mph looks mighty slow but that thing was moving right along.

Done that a lot in a bunch of different airplanes, even taken off and landed in the same place without turning. (yeah, flown backwards relative to ground)

It's pretty easy to figure out, assuming there is a wind gradient, a wind of 20kts on the ground could easily be 60 or 70kts 1000' up. The slow speed fly by wire will allow on that thing might be 120kts with no load. its a couple hundred feet long so it looks like it is at walking speed.

Looked like those clouds where moving along pretty quickly to me. I've seen those thuderbirds doing slow flybys at less than 30 mph ground speed in their fighters which was cool.
