Back in college I used to work in a turtle research and recovery lab. The pic I attached is of an injured turtle we put back together with some glue and popsicle sticks...cause of injury? A Rottweiler got a hold of it

ETA: Definitely not as fancy as the legos

[:/] So sad. Did it survive/heal?

The OP is a cool story! I was worried about the "gluing" of the pieces to it at first, but the story explained that it was temporary and the pieces could be removed when appropriate. :)

It did! A lot of time needed for it to heal, but we eventually released it and I tracked it for a while before the tag fell off.

You should have wrapped the shell in a kevlar/resin combo to make it Rottweiler-proof.:D

***Here is something for DZ.COM's own Turtle ...
Disabled tortoise gets a Lego 'wheelchair'

Wheels put Yertle too high off ground. Clawing along on toenails. Turtle need low-rider wheels.

Turtle needs ghetto sled wheels. ;)
