The US has services as a larger component than every other country in the world in total consumer spending. Inflation has effected services more than manufacturing because services has a huge labor component with goods less so. Little of Biden's spending involves services.

Its become clear that Rupert Murdoch has laid down the law at FOX. trump is out and DeSantis is the new GOP savior of America. FOX has turned against trump and has begun to be more aggressive about tackling his lies. The lies of DeSantis are completely acceptable. So FOX wants to move on but has one piece of baggage left. That pesky lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems. In which the evidence clearly shows that lying by FOX personalities was the rule of the day. So FOX can move on to new lies for the benefit of DeSantis and the GOP. Is FOX going to quietly settle with buckets of cash and a NDA?

My new cable provider added FOX. So yesterday at the same time every news channel was covering the E. Jean Carroll verdict. On FOX not a peep. Instead it was the invasion of cartel members, criminals, insane asylum residents. All being kept out of Texas by razor wire. They didn't provide pictures of Biden but he was hiding around every corner. Today a "writer and author" rented a EV to take a 160 mile trip in California. Car ran out of power and had to be abandoned. At the last report of the FOX "journalist reporters" the rental car was still abandoned on the side of a rad because there are no charging stations to be found. Once again Biden was responsible for the hills and distances within California. Sorry Wendy I don't think negotiations with the new GOP is possible.

Hence the pounding of the table about the "immigration crisis" from the right wing information sources. These attitudes don't develop overnight and they will be a part of the American character for decades to come. If the barrage of such information streams ended tomorrow. Americans pretend that trump wouldn't kick a puppy. That’s ridiculous. He’d hire someone else to kick a puppy, then deny knowing the person he hired and refuse to pay them

The GOP and FOX control the messaging to its base just like North Korea's Kim. The GOP base is loyal to trump because they know nothing else. That a world exists outside the conservative agenda is labeled heresy. So the constitution what you swore allegiance to as a military member means nothing? All immigrants are allowed "due process" i.e. an immigration hearing. The hiring of more judges and supporting personnel is exactly what Biden has put on the table.

Clearly you don't follow agriculture. Corn planting for this years crop was up 6.3% you're quote, to 10% other USDA figures. Over last years plantings due to higher corn prices v other grain crops. More acres = higher production if all other factors the same. Republicans, even with an education its mostly wasted by the FOX effect.

Agree. i would say that there seems to be little evidence against President Biden. Certainly not enough for impeachment. BUT, Hunter is the poster child for smoke and red flags. Be it conduct, or cash coming and going. Hunter is a magnet for suspicious conduct. FOX and its associated idiot viewers will have a field day with this. President Biden will be paint splattered by the time its done. He should not however be punished for loving his son. He does have a decades long political career without even a hint of misconduct. The odd self aggrandising lie aside. Which pales in comparison to most politicians and is in a separate universe compared to the orange idiot. -
I like that Rolf guy, the gun shop owner at the end. Swiss and German guns are the most interesting. The Swiss believe that government works and works for them. That rules and democracy go hand in hand. Too many Americans don't. The Swiss believe that mental health, social services should be well funded. Income inequality in Switzerland is the same today as it was 100 years ago. In the US FOX has persuaded the poor and the uneducated that they need republicans to make life better and put a gun in their hands for self defense. That guns are necessary because the government doesn't work. That gun laws can't be trusted or passed because...well...everyone needs a gun and its a right.

Yes. Because lets face it FOX have a very lucrative business model. Its as if Joe became the only DZ in the US! For FOX viewers loyalty is number one and the cash for FOX pours in. They were sitting on $4.4 billion in cash and negotiable securities.Before writing the cheque to Dominion. Look at it this way. Billions are spent each election cycle in the US buying elections. Excuse me, paying for advertising, lobbying etc. FOX tried to help steal an election and it didn't work. But what they got for the $800 million. Don't forget they probably had $20 million in legal fees on top of the settlement. What they got was MORE dedicated viewers. Those viewers don't get news from other sources. They don't want news. They want infotainment. -

Well some in SC learned how to apologize and speak the truth from FOX news. Take this week for example. FOX was running its usual disinformation propaganda campaign to educate its masses of GOP viewers. It placed a headline banner under a couple stories stating "‘Wannabe dictator speaks at White House after having his political rival arrested.’ Regarding the arrest of trump in Florida. Somebody in the legal department or possibly someone with common sense intervened and ordered the banner removed. Subsequently FOX-pas apologized by running a news story stating that the banner generated "controversy" when it “went too far.”.
