  1. I read Brian Germain's book 'Transcending Fear' not long after getting into the sport and it helped me understand fear a lot better. Brian seems to get a lot of hate from some on here, but I've found both that book and his many YouTube videos very helpful and informative. Keep it up Brian Failing all the above advice OP A 4-pack beers ought to relax you before the big jump Werewolves not swearwolves

  3. In the UK, the light goes on we generally just get out, unless there has been very thick cloud. And they call us the nanny state Werewolves not swearwolves
  4. Don't forget between the 6th and 12th largest economy in the entire world... It outperforms most countries. Not bad for a hippie land full of liberal commies. I don't think that the UK is going to be the 6th biggest economy for much longer. The Donald is about to bend us over for a royal shafting (trade deal), whilst we're on our knees and flood our food shelves with steroid enhanced bovine and chlorinated poultry products. We are buggered Werewolves not swearwolves
  5. i dont know, chiropractor is the same, as in russian "manual therapeut" - human with, i think, medical education, who with spine massage can relieve strained muscles, and so on. about a 10 years ago or so i try to lift my newfoundland dog. yes, i know, i am a fool, and dog not very massive ( about 65 kilogramms, or ~120 punds i think) but large, and very uncomfortable position at starting lift from ground level, as so i start lift with non straight spine, and get a some problems. that was a bit stiff at waist, and some small pain also. i have that for about 2 years - bit discomfortable, but all in all i can live with that. and then i got to local manual therapeut by my wifes advice - just for look, what changes. i was very sceptical, and not believe, something changes, but my amazement - i almost already feel, that stifness is gone, and that small, everyday pain too! so, there can be good effect. when i got an my last trauma - Herniated intervertebral disc - i also got to him with some hope, but this time there is practically no changes. as so it looks works not in all situations, but that is logical. corsette is a good companion for bad spine, btw, and, if riding bicycle / moto, then best position is leaned forward. with straight position spine was ruined very easy, if road not perfectly smooth... :\ Tried yoga? 6. Whatever you do, don't go to a chiropractor. Fucking snake oil charlatans. Anyone who thinks that you can immunise children against Polio by manipulating the spine need bloody shooting Werewolves not swearwolves
  7. Suck it up USA. Far less than BPA membership, which is in my opinion good value for money Werewolves not swearwolves
  8. Really informative! Look forwards to the coming articles
  9. Thanks! I guess that anywhere in a ~100km radius would be feasible for a regular DZ would be good for me, if that increases my options? Werewolves not swearwolves
  10. I'm potentially moving to Upper Austria for work in the next few months. Any recommendations for DZ's in this region or nearly with a good club scene? Also anyone know if there is much paragliding around there? Thanks in advance Werewolves not swearwolves
  11. As a Brit I can't but help picturing some guns 'n' god, Stetson wearing yahoo when I picture the poster who shared that clearly false data about Tesla's environmental impact. But as a Brit, I'm sure you're picturing a posh bloke with really bad teeth. Perspective is everything Werewolves not swearwolves
  12. Netflix has the entire season 6 available. We binge watched it. Spoiler Alert After illegally manipulating the electoral system, Francis Underwood becomes the president but is being dogged by the MSM. Claire is the vice president and murders her lover, a biographer and staff writer because he has damning evidence against them. Francis resigns allowing Claire to become president. The plan is to rule the country for the next eight years with him in the shadows but still wielding power. He senses Claire is pushing him into abandonment and threatens to kill her. The final scene depicts Claire facing the audience and defiantly claiming, "Now it's my turn." The similarities between the show and our past presidential campaign are chilling. Excellent summation. But that was season 5, the current season, hence my jest OOPS, my mistake. If there is a season 6, I believe the theme will be a vicious battle between Claire and Francis. She has proven herself to be not only an accomplice to murder but a black widow as well. I think she will have Francis murdered. I also think she will sleep, literally, with Russia's president Viktor Petrov. She might well get Frank, but I'd put money on creepy Doug assassinating her if she does That point has merit. Hammerschmidt from The Washington Herald is closing in on Doug. Creepy Doug could be one of the first casualties in the new administration. I'd say that Doug has the most interesting character arc, and is IMO the most interesting character in the show who is clearly struggling with guilt over the things the Underwoods demand of him. The Underwoods are clearly devoid of guilt and thus Doug is the conscience of the show. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't still in the show for some time yet. He's been set up to be in conflict with Claire and I'm sure he'll be hacked off when he finds out the Frank had Leann killed. Maybe Hammerschmidt might be able to turn him in the coming season Werewolves not swearwolves

  15. I agree, both Claire and Francis are sociopaths/psychopaths. Kill them with fire I think season 7 will be explosive. Francis stated that he will kill Claire if she removes him from the circle of power. How do you think the intervening season 6 will go? Werewolves not swearwolves

  17. So in my cod psychology view, Claire Underwood is a sociopath. Is this correct? Is she exhibiting the signs? What about Francis? Werewolves not swearwolves
  18. Thanks for the info all Werewolves not swearwolves
  19. Yes. Happened to a friend of mine. How exactly did your closing loop tightness cause a premature deployment? I mean, I can see how pc pocket tightness would do it... But closing loop? I've replaced the hacky sack with a tuck tab wedge under advice from senior FF fliers at my DZ. I've got pretty good bridle stowage too. I'm trying to cover all bases, hence my enquiry with regards to the loop. Werewolves not swearwolves
  20. Having suffered a premature deployment whilst freeflying, I now make sure that the closing loop is nice and tight and shorten it accordingly. To be honest, I make it as tight as possible whilst still being able to close the container. However, I was wondering if there comes a point where the loop becomes TOO tight? Is there a significant risk of having a PC in tow as a result of an overly shortened closing loop? Has anyone out there experienced this type of malfunction? Thanks for any and all replies
  21. Whoever could have predicted that might happen when you appoint a real estate developer as effectively the nation's top diplomat and give him carte blanche to operate outside any normal state department procedures? Who could have known that those much maligned 'beltway insiders' are actually skilled professionals who know what they're doing and how to do it properly? I had no idea Could be worse. Hillary the warmonger might well have caused WW3 over the Syrian war. Werewolves not swearwolves
  22. Is it a myth that all the exponents of Skysurfing that inspired so many of us children of the 90's are dead then? Werewolves not swearwolves
  23. Hi, I'm potentially moving to Sweden for a year or 2 for work being based in Linkoping. I'm a jumper with about 250 jumps, qualified and progressed in the UK and have mostly done belly flying, but have recently got FF1 and would like to progress with my free flying. I wonder if people in the know could recommend any dropzones and boogies located in my part of Sweden? Thanks in advance Werewolves not swearwolves
