I think calling ahead may create its own kind of trouble. Here is how I think it could go... Me "hey I am going to visit this weekend, do you allow Wingsuiting?" I prefer to make my opinions based on facts and I just don't feel like I have any facts on this one. I only know of 3 wingsuit tail strikes which have been over a 5 year period. I am not saying others don't happen but I just don't have enough information to mull on. Sounds like you must have a serious set of facts which unlike BASE fatalities and skydive accidents are just too secret to share. A community can't address an issue that isn't shared so it sounds like just a few of you have the burden of solving the issue, good luck. I don't think posting this on dz.com is going to have much impact, it only reaches those that read here and in reality that is few. Maybe there should be an initiative to educate DZO and S&TA types about what they can do to help prevent a danger to their plane from loading up in the first place. This year we added a survey to review the knowledge of new renters on topics like this but still it won't stop suits getting into the hands of those unprepared to handle them. I was talking to some other ski instructors today and the topic of fat skis came up. Some were convinced that a new skier should do their time on small ski's before being allowed to be on fat skis.
