  1. A shart is when someone thought it was just gas, but then, oops! it is much more solid/liquid. It is one of the few things that after the fact, you can't claim it was on purpose! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  3. Yep, that German was "blowin' in the wind", but I don't know why you should be bragging the opposite. ;-) Lisa NJFTV #1 The first naked TV jump (until someone can come up with an air date earlier--now the gauntlet has been thrown down--and I'm sure someone will) or I've been out of it so long this is already old hat. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  4. I thought it was Hop on Pop! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  5. This definitely wasn't the first naked skydive, but might be the first naked skydive on TV. We jumped into Glen Eden Nudist Colony in So. Cal. It aired on 18 Nov. 1980 on a short-lived show called "2 On the Town" It was a CBS local show. If anyone can find footage, I'd appreciate it. If for no other reason than to keep it away from my children's eyes' ;-) Lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  6. Tom, Floating puds were a very bad problem. Fortunately, I was aware of it, and as soon as I received my Racer, I modified the deployment system to a leg-mounted pilot chute. I never had a problem with it, and encouraged (strongly) everyone I met, who had a pud, to convert. I even modified a few along the way for some. Lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  7. Jerry and Bill, It was definitely not a Racer. I was one of the firsts to jump a Racer in Elsinore. I had to talk Dean into ordering for me ( he was afraid that he couldn't service it for me because it was an East coast rig). There were a few others that were jumping SSTs, but they brought them with them. I remember her, and I'm sure that I would remember another gal jumping a rig that was very scarce. There weren't a whole lot of us girls or those rigs. Lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  8. Sparky, Jumped with all of them at one time or another--great guys! You and I also have jumped together a few times, if I recall correctly. Didn't you always wear orange? Lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  9. I'm curious why anyone would want to jump a dactyl. When squares became available, everyone I knew got rid of them toot-sweet. They were horribly unreliable, and pounded even light-weight jumpers into the ground--especially on hot days. Lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  10. I started jumping at Elsinore in the late 70s, and was wondering where she is and how she's doing. Lisa WSCR #594 lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
