It’s time to set the Pennsylvania women’s formation skydiving and relative work records on July 4th and 5th. Sign up for the STL “Going Bigger, Going Better” skills camps. This is your opportunity to learn how to safely and successfully transition to larger formation skydiving. Camps will include techniques for exits, approaches, docking, slot flying, and break-offs through ground work, mental training, and video debriefs. In each camp you’ll build on previous skills until you too are walking the walk and talking the talk. Plus, you’ll take away drills that you can practice with any skydive – so you’ll keep improving with every jump you make. In order to participate you’ll need to have an A license with a 60 jump minimum (or organizer waiver). Pre-registration and a full day commitment of participation is required. I got my AFFI rating first, but this was after tons of RW and actively working as a coach for awhile for my dz. Then I started actively working as a tandem videographer, which I really think helped me with the TI rating... I recently got my tandem rating and did not find it as difficult but definitely consider it more 'work'. Depending on where you plan on working you may be able to request which you'd like to do as your primary function, and then use the other as needed. Doing it all over I'd still do it the same.

Theresa Nadeau will be teaching this course. There is plenty of room for all those who wish to get their rating. All participants must be a USPA member, hold a USPA B-License and have a minumum of 100 jumps. You will need a IRM and a SIM that is dated within 2 years. Newest SIM is recommended as the BSR's have changed. The coaches Proficiency Card must be signed off on the first two items prior to the course (take the open book test and teach general sections of a FJC), everything else will be done at the course. The course will be $275 plus the slots for your evaluation jumps. If you are interesed, contact Theresa Nadeau for further information. Sky's the Limit in PA has water training scheduled for April 12th, May 10th, June 21st, July 19th, August 9th, Sept 13th. We do it at a local heated pool :) you can give manifest a call at 570-420-1011 to sign up if you'd like.
