  5. From skydance: There was no pouch in the Velocity helmet. You can attach a small piece of velcro pile to the audible itself and mate it to the hook inside the helmet's internal audible pocket. I'd rather not put velcro on the face of the audible... Is it possible to order a small pouch that come with other helmets so I can slide my audible inside of it?
  6. I have an open face velocity helmet, and a Solo II audible. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to mount it? I had it velcro'd inside where the padding pulls back to put the audible, but then the speaker was not facing my ear because the velcro had to be on the back where the speaker was.. If I just lay it in there it will bounce around. Am I missing something simple? I had a friend look at it, they let me borrow the small pouch that came out of his helmet to put the audible in, then layed that inside and it stayed put. Mine did not come with anything... Can I buy something like this? What am I doing wrong? Also, I emailed Skydance and am waiting a reply.
  7. I recently traveled with my rig, I used the email from the cypres website and asked them for a card, within two days I had a new one in the mail.
  8. Thanks, I found a ride from lax to perris, now I am just looking for one from perris to lax monday morning...Looked into some shuttle services, most are around $150 to pick me up and take me to the airport. (I could buy more jumps for that price!!!)
  9. hey everyone, after hours on the phone with expedia, etc, and cancelled flights. I need a ride!!! Anybody know anybody? I'd be willing to pay gas. I arrive at LAX Friday at 11am and need to get to Perris... I leave Monday, and would have to be back at LAX by 11am... I tried renting a card but they require a credit card in the drivers name... I don't own a cc! Anybody know of any options, buses, etc. something, let me know!

  11. I have a similar pair that I have (ikam extreme from www.revolutionaryoutdoorproducts.com) used for dirt-track racing in the past, unbelievable quality - even through a scratched helmet shield! The sound was great too, and uploaded with a USB. I think they only record about 20 minute clips at a time up to 3 or 4 hours. When using them for this I take the lenses out and just wear the frames. Was wondering if they would work with skydiving through a full face helmet (yes I know not until I have more jumps, etc).
  12. 8 days left, super excited. I'm assuming Perris has load organizers, think it will be hard to find people to jump with? Just belly stuff, 4-way or less.
  13. my goals: -To reach at least 100 jumps -Improve every skill and start working on a coach rating -Take a canopy control course
