If you have a MP3 Player with voice record you can record yourself saying the seconds(up to whatever),and you can figure what delay you want to take.I believe you can also plug a mic into your computer,and record toMP3,WAV,WMA format... There are most definetly pro's and con's to both of are ways.It all boils down to what works for yourself.I did make the suggestion to a friend if he was going to use the knot method then he should finger trap the line behind the knot,but not sew it.This is probably how I will do my new ACE.This will keep the line out of the way. Keep it simple dude.Have your steering lines fingertrapped at the ends.You can find a setting that would be suitable for the MSL where you most of your jumps,and it will be fine for higher or lower MSL's.This is strictly my opinion,and this works for me.I jump primarily around 1500,but I do jumps that are between 2500-6500MSL quite often.I can tell the difference,but I am able to get good performance,and safe performance with the setting I chose.I prefer not to have all that line dangling off my toggle,and do not like to have to stow it.I do not think it is neccesary.Again this is my mopinion,and it works for me.Hope this helps. I am still not sure this is true.Without naming any sites there are alot of jumps being done off of"A""S" throughout the US,and the world that are not legal.Especially the "S's."This probably belongs on another thread,but I just wanted to know how you came to this conclusion,without really knowing any #'s.(Unless you do have #'s) Just my opinion. I filmed a couple of people including myself.The PC osilates,but we are not pitching it in a turn.It seems if you pitch to hard to the right the parachute starts to pull out to the right ,and creates an off-heading to the left.Let me know what you think on this. I was told to pitch the pilot chute using a wrist flick,and to do this 45 degrees off the body.The 45 degrees is so that you do not pitch it to your side to hard,and possibly give yourself off-headings to the left.I personally have seen this with a couple of my friends,and since showing them the video of both ways they have cheanged ,and seen better results.Anyone else have any comments on this.Hope this helps. http://freakboy066.tripod.com/

Check these out.They are the newest thing out there.This guy that makes these did a 2-way with a guy that was wearing the phx flysuit,and this guy was wearing only the "PRESSURIZED PANTS(NOT THE JACKET)" he left 2.5 secs. after,he got farther away he opened at the same altitude,but got 8secs. longer delay.My buddy just ordered a set,and did some demos on another.First jump never ever flying anything like this sustained 70 mph.Here is the link. http://www.pressurized.at/jacket.html. http://freakboy066.tripod.com/

As far as Robo Gear I personally do not use alot,but do think it is a great idea.I am looking for a fullface helmet for base,and think that is a great idea.As far as cameras,as long as you stay topmount(my opinion)you will be okay for base,and skydiving(Bonehead is a very strong helmet,you can't beat carbon fiber).Just make sure you have some sort of quick release.Laser rangefinders are still being used.Suunto watches,anemometer(wind guage).GPS mainly to mark exit points on cliffs,or finding an exit point that has allready been marked.Armor can be found at your local motorcross store.Hope this helped C-YA,MIKE BASE#812 http://freakboy066.tripod.com/
