My dad has had both a CT and MRI now and is scheduled for a neurology appointment on Friday.From what my family has told me via phone while at LP the CT scan was clear...no signs of a tumor or bleeding,but the tech said "possibly a CVA".Today we got the results back from the MRI and it was also clear of any abnormalities but we're still strong-arming him into going to the neuro. appt on Friday regardless. So right now hes tired and a bit weakened/worn out but not any worse.Thank you SO much everyone for all the vibes,PMs,and emails as well as everyone at LP who helped keep me in good spirits and tried to help me worry less and have a good time.Also, special thanks to drdive and ladydyver for the excellent medical advice/help/consultation at LP.You're both awesome!

well I havent been working out in a long time but I am proud to say that I'm eating better and have lost another 2-3lbs all while quitting smoking.Yep....its been 14days since my last cigarette!woohoo!so theres my new fitness habit. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I've gone exactly 14 days w/no cigarettes.The only problem now is that my liver is in recovery from LP LOL!!! thanks for all the incentives and support everyone...especially at the smoker-filled bar at LP when I REALLY wanted a smoke.I'm sure my lungs are relieved from the lack of smoke in such high altitude too!

hmm,what to say about LP from me. I took lots of good pics on the 20hr drive to and from CA to MT including some excellent pics of Doc's 500th pieing and Bolas' 1000th.(yes I was an instigator on both incidents...Nightingale and I made the trip to town for 27pie plates and 14lbs of whipped cream for all the milestone jumps). I got to meet SO many great new people...doc,lady,granny,michele,amazon,skootz,tallguy and everyone else that I'm forgetting (sorry!)plus hanging out with bytch,Keith,Clay and other dz.commers I'd met at other boogies again. doc and lady...your company was great and dinner was always orgasmic!Thanks for the company during my 'down time' and letting me in on doc's 500th pieing.Plus the great health advice for my dad. let me see what else...I was the Designated Dog Sitter. I think I got Doc addicted to Amaretto Sours after I drank the bar almost dry of Amaretto all week.but I got addicted to his food so its an even trade I think.plus I got way to into the Lang and jello shots. I talked Nightingale into learning poker. I had to "present my goods" for the boobie inspector...."I only do it for officials!" hahaha! I have WAY too much info for sig lines now from all the "off" comments.hehehe!see sig line for prime example. um hello, I'm in CA right now at Nightingale's place.I flew into LAX and hitched a ride to Union Station yesterday and she picked me up from there.I'll be here another 2days before we leave for LP.Then when we come back I'll be here the 6th and 7th before I fly back to TX on the 7th.
