  1. Hey Glen, Yeah. Whit took some great vid. He's the guy from Sky Dive America I bought my canopy from earlier in the summer. It was cool flying with him. Blues, Trip
  2. Hey Trevor! Great pics. You rock and you're my brand new idol for your endurance. Frickin amazing man. Hope to see you again in the near future. Ciao.
  3. You Rock Whit!!! Great to meet you. Glad you had a blast last weekend. Maybe I can take the canopy you're flying now off your hands too when you're done with it. Looking forward to bumping into you again. Next time I'll be on my head with you.
  4. Glenn, you'll have no prob with the subsequent AD tests as long as you fly as well as you make us chuckle. Congrats again!
  5. go buy a float tank. it does wonders for your head. http://www.samadhitank.com/
  6. Here I am with the new SONY PC-X embedded just next to my pineal gland so I can film all jumps I've made in my head so far.
  7. This is the only pic of me I have online after my conversion to skydivism (whatever). I can't find pics of me before my conversion. You wouldn't recognize me anyway.
  8. Ex-IP Attorney here. Did it for three years in a very old school, high powered, wood-paneled law firm. Bottom line. The work is dry. You better like the other attorneys you work with otherwise your life will suck. Pursuit of the work itself will not make up for working with a bunch of back biting assholes. Suggestion - try to get into the litigation side of things. You'll work wieder hours but it will be a helluva lot more interesting. Just a little insight from a dude who has been there. I'm feeling better now, thank you very much.
  9. My first taste of Scotty's and Tami's famous grub at the Goodtime Boogie was outstanding! Happy 50th (I guess) Scotty. Looking forward to seeing you and Tami again real soon.
  10. I have an aquaintence who did a first tandem on an SSRI antidepresant. I was told that the only side effect of the drug on the jump was he was nonplussed about the whole experience. However, since then the jumper decided that the whole antidepresant scene wasn't the ticket and has taken up skydiving. So, what's the lesson here? Maybe skydiving should be part of a prescription for depresson.
  11. On information and belief I think it is possible that SOME dz.commers sabotage those ratings. I'll never tell.
  12. 0:3:3 - creeping in on my A Licence.
  13. It's all about the head on the shoulders (while meeting some arbitrary physical requirements (to each his or her own)). Without a brain she will forget to pull, probably bounce and that's no good at all. I have an ex-wife that would have bounced.
  14. I guess I just hope that when I get to 1400 jumps (and I will) I still only have one cutaway.
