  1. They're in Australlia, that's why the price is so low....it's due to the exchange rate of Australlia dollars to U.S. dollars. Austin
  2. I'm interested in ordering a Tads freefly suit and would like to know what people here think aobut them (construction etc...). The fact that I can get one with the options I want for $150 (including shipping) is really attractive. Thanks. Blue Skies Austin
  3. I love my wings containter! it's extremely comfortable under canopy and the articulated ring are deinately worth it. Rigs and things is also a very good place to order though in my opinio. Happy Hops, Austin
  4. This summer I bought my first rig, and I bought a brand new Wings container and love it. I bought my main (Triathlon 190) used with about 15 jumps on it (NEW!!), and got a great deal on my brand new reserve by trading some stuff and money for it. I would definately recommend the Wings, and also my other point is that you can really find some great deals if you search around for a bit before you buy. Austin A-38993

    Wings

I got my Wings about three weeks ago and jumped it immediately that weekend. With the articulated hip rings it is extremely comfortable in the plane, in freefall and particularly under canopy, the wide leg straps are great! Nobody else at my dropzone jumps a Wings yet, but I have received nothing but compliments about mine and have let several people try it on and they all commented on the comfort of it. I'd definately recommend looking into a Wings Container if you're looking to buy a new container. Austin
  6. MM, When I originally ordered my Wings, they told me approximately SIX weeks..it's supposed to be leaving the factory on August 21 (only a week away now!!!). I bought a "used" (15 jumps on it) Triathlon 190 that will be loaded right at 1:1, and I got a really good deal on a brand new Tempo 170 when I traded some old paintball equipment. That's about the size of it all... Happy Hops, Austin
  7. I vote for blue-yellow-white...but that's just because I remember spending a few hours on this same decision a little over a month ago and am waiting on my blue-yellow-black Wings to get here!! Happy Hops Austin whatever you choose will kick ass since it's not for any of us anyway..
  8. Chris, Where did you find a new, custom Wings with kill line, rings and hackey for $880???? I ordered one about 3-4 weeks ago for 25% off and got it without pinstripes, but with the rings and hackey and I got mine for $990 or so (actually, I'm waiting on mine for that still). Anyway, I was just curious... I can't wait for mine to get here, it's supposed to leave the factory on Aug 21, and I have both of my canopies here waiting for it!!! Happy Hops, Austin
  9. As soon as it gets here... Wings, Triathlon 190, Tempo 170 Happy Hops, Austin
  10. Hey Paul, Yes, it would probably help me quite a bit to learn to pro-pack...especially to get on the next load like somebody else I know at Skydive KS who's initials are P.E. haha. The bad thing is that I talked to the guy and I'll probably get my canopy in like a week and a half, but no container for another 4-5 weeks and I do still need to get that reserve, but I've had an easier time finding good reserves than mains, so I decided to snatch this one up (especially since it just has 15 jumps on it!!) see ya a week or so. happy hops, Austin
  11. I have just bought a used Triathlon with 15 jumps on it and am curious as to the packing method. I do not know how to pro-pack as of yet and am wondering if there is anything special that should be done if I stack pack it. Thanks. Happy Hops, Austin
  12. I can get ahold of beer, that was my sarcastic excuse....and I happen to like beer very much :) happy hops, Austin
  13. Thanks Paul, I'll be out there again in a couple weeks and maybe we can get something going again...I wish I wasn't 20 most of the time, but sometimes it actually gives me a way out of some things hahaha.. Plus the people I jump with know that I'll make up for it when I finally do turn 21!! Happy Hops, Austin
  14. First of all, the most important thing of this weekend is that I earned my A License!! On top of that, I had my first 3-ways and 4-way, and I got some sweet video of me flipping all over the place and doing all sorts of barrel rolls. Plus I got two of my friends to do first jump tandems, and both of them seem to be hooked already... Austin (20 years old---can't buy beer hehehe) A-?????

Hell yeah it's gonna be a REAL long six weeks!! now i gotta start choosing canopies for it...i got it sized for a 190 zp main and a 170 reserve... any suggestions?? (newly licensed).. 5 weeks, 6 days or so and counting Austin

    WINGS!!!!

I ordered my Wings container today!!!! I can't wait for it to get here, but I was told it should be about 6 weeks.
  17. will do!! it's gonna be quite a while though......i'm only sophomore status in school (aero engineering) and i don't have my A license yet (about 5 more jumps should do it). happy hops! Austin
  18. Hey mouth, my email is [email protected] that'd be great if you can ask them those sorts of questions for me. I figure i'll have to have a "real" job also, but it'd be really cool to have a second job doing something as fun as this!! thanks, Austin
  19. Do any of you either design canopies or know people who do?? I'm thinking that could be a pretty kick ass job..especially since I'm an aerospace eningeering student right now. I was kinda wondering what some other people who currently do this have done as far as education. I'm pretty curious to find out, so if you know or know someone any info would be appreciated. Austin
  20. We didn't actually have problems with that jump, she (the jumpmaster) wore all of her weights and was adjusting to me the entire time..it worked out alright for me, but she didn't want it to cause any problems about passing any more of the jumps coming up, so we switched me to another guy that does the AFF portion of the student training. It all worked out fine. Austin
  21. Hey all, I was gonna try and tell everyone this earlier than today, but I've been working and other stuff. Last weekend I nailed my release dive and then this weekend, I had both of my manuevers jumps (90 degree turns and forward movenent and then 360's and forward movement) and did great! Each jump gets more and more fun with each manuever added to it. I can't wait for my solo exit and back loop this weekend and hopefully my comprehensive jumps so I'll finally be done with my jumps with my jumpmasters
  22. I'm stil doing my student training through the IAD method, but was wondering when do most people start looking for/considering buying their own rigs?? and are there any containers that are particularly "friendly" to people just off of student status? Austin
  23. I hear that!!! the wind prevented me from doing my first maneurvers dive after my release dive on the IAF training yesterday.. i got my release dive done ( nailed it !! :) ), and then waited to try and do my next one but the wind just stayed right above 14 mph, so i just got to watch all the licensed jumpers and tandem people jump while i waited. i guess i'll have to try again next weekend. Austin
  24. now that there's a whole bunch of people on line (yes, i did look ), i thought i'd bump this up and see if anyone else has any suggestions/comments.. Austin
  25. Thanks for the comments. I'll probably try and get it typed up for that contest in a couple of days.. I'm glad you liked it. Austin
