I did all that to watch the .avi files but my windows media player just tells me that "Unable to download an appropriate decompressor." there are no details when i click the details tab, so i'm not sure what to do to make it work..any ideas what my problem is??? or how to fix it??? Austin

The problem with this whole situation is that the press keeps giving this guilty bastard attention. Do they not see that by publishing these interviews, printing more and more pictures of him, they are just giving him exactly what he wants?????? The point is, that in giving him all of this coverage, it inspires more people like him to carry on with whatever plans they may have brewing. He should be killed untelevised, with no more publicity for him or about him, as soon as possible. Nothing has disturbed me more (other than the bombing itself) about this whole deal than what I have just mentioned. He should have been locked in solitary confinement with no outside contact until the day of his execution...that is what would have really stopped him from getting all of his wishes. Austin

Hey everyone. I just read that article on the homepage about the World record attempt for deaf skydivers and showed my girlfriend because she's studying to teach deaf children when she graduates, and she likes to hear about deaf events like that and stuff, but anyway, she asked what the world record for hearing skydivers is for bigways, but I didn't know. I figured somebody on here has to know, so I figured I'd ask and find out.. Austin

My friends and I made a beer bong right after we graduated high school that held an entire six pack...we had to hang it from a baskeball goal or off the roof at parties. The record for the most ever actually done out of it was 3.5 beers though, and I did it!!! Austin

Thanks guys, but after looking at the time table of classes, it looks like my ultra fun math class for aerospace engineering is at the same time as the scuba class is. Looks like I'll be trying for it next spring. Austin

How long are you supposed to wait after scuba diving before you skydive?? I'm picking my classes for next fall and thinking about taking scuba, but it would be on Fridays and I wasn't sure if that would make me not able to jump for the rest of the weekend....I know some of you all do both, so I figured you could help. I haven't jumped there yet.....I started jumping in the summer of 99 after I graduated from high school at Missouri River Valley Skydiving but then had to pretty much quit after 4 static line jumps because I went to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in New York, and like the other federal service academies, they took up all of my time. But last summer I went to the Air Force Academy for their freefall class and did my five 10 second delay jumps and earned my wings but haven't been able to jump since. I just transferred to KU and am TRYING to get back up sometime soon so that I can finally get that evasive license..... Hopefully I'll get out there within the next couple of weeks. Austin

If you combine this thread with the one earlier about tandem jumps with women.......I'd DEFINATELY make that tandem with her!

I live in Lansing, KS and was hoping to start jumping again at Skydive Kansas, but all I had was the webpage which doesn't seem to work anymore. If anybody has the number or the new webpage(?), I would appreciate the help. Thanks. Austin
