look... I know there are a lot of factors. If you want to call it coincidence to satisfy your world view I am fine with that. You cannot deny the facts though. All of the states with GOP gov. are recovering faster. If you want to say it is bc of Barry.... all good. There is no use in arguing bc it will get us nowhere. I am a conservative and had no problem giving props to Clinton for what he accomplished or agreeing with libs at times when I thought Bush was screwing up and spending too much. Beyond all of your above drivel, there IS an issue here...That being that there is an overwhelming amount of hard, objective evidence supporting evolution, and absolutely none supporting the intellectual joke that is "creationism". Yeah, my response was based more on what I've seen in polls than on my own experience. From the Christians I know (and I know quite a few), I can think of several who accept evolution and several who don't, but with most of them the subject has never come up, so I have no idea what they think about it. As a Christian I have no problem with evolution. But I do have a problem with so called "scientists" that use an extremely limited understanding of the origins of life on earth to conclude that God doesn't exist. To claim that the subatomic plasma from the big bang just happened to settle out like it did boggles statistical probabilities. Those who reject God have used various rational throughout the ages. Evolution is just the latest flavor for those who want to reject God and whitewash their self deification. ... No, the church is yet again on the wrong side of the issue from the truth, just like it has been with countless other issues in the past.
