  5. Only good fortune saved these 2 people. Everything was against them.
  6. John Combs has sadly reported that David M. Pitts, Midwest City, OK, has passed at 72. Dave was an early D license holder in Oklahoma. He was an instructor, jumpmaster, jump pilot, ASO, I/E, master rigger, ATP airplane pilot and helicopters. In November 1974 he flew us to the collegiate Nationals in Deland in a Cessna 207 Skywagon ( Mike Mythen, Eddie Taylor and John ? were on that awesome trip ). He let us fly half of the time, too.

  8. "promise5"]I'll say it. Who really cares?? So what if someone was late to an event. I mean dang!!! Burn me alive, I thought it was funny myself. You care nothing for many people who are ill, are not well, and being trapped in a car for hours is not very GD funny, rat fink !!!

  16. STS - 73 in 1995. Fred is really good at everything he does.
  17. Wade Chase, Dave Stephens, filmed by Fred Leslie. Strato Stars, we always made it back in. Poptop Navy conical reserves with 4 line releases. Para Commanders, a few, until it seemed that everyone had a Strato Star and really liked it. We did a lot of 2 and 3 ways from 5500 feet when things were busy at the DZ. Cheap, too. You had to get out and get it done quickly which I would say was good practice. This was the only time I was ever filmed on a jump. https://www.youtube.com/...amp;feature=youtu.be

  19. I commend Nick on a tremendous effort, an unbelievable effort. ( He made 3 attempts and never got to jump from altitude ). For those who did not see the show, Nick got to 123,500 feet and then could not disconnect a frozen Oxygen connector to make his jump. It occurs to me, however, that since Nick had no high speed freefall nor even some oxygen mask jumps from 25,000 to 30,000 feet ( as far as I know ), the odds would have been really against him had he jumped. Just my thoughts on it, though.
  20. Think I saw him on Facebook. Retired in Florida.
  21. I have 2 daughters 27, 29 not married yet though engaged. I am keeping quiet until / unless they or their boyfriends ask me about it. I would tell them to get a prenup without fail. If I had a son I would tell him to NEVER marry without one and I would verbally fight him about that. I have studied this a lot, a whole lot, and I am divorced. The courts will hammer the man nearly every time. The man will be totally devastated and destroyed. He may commit suicide. It happens all the time. The information on this is out there, it is everywhere. There is little doubt in my mind that Robin Williams suicide was related to 2 bad divorces and a possible 3rd one coming soon. Yes I know he was ill as well.
