Well folks, I just checked the weather service and at 8:15am (eastern) it's 65 degrees in beatiful Orange, VA going up to a possible high of 92 today!!!! If you're feeling the urge to get in some jumps, we'll be starting at 12 noon with the $15.00 Otter Jumps. . . . see y'all there! A few years ago I took a tandem out of a cessna once under a similar situation( hmmm maybe it's the cessnassss????) and got myself into the start of a side spin. I used the drogue to dump out of it quickly though, but DAMN!!!! You watch the tape during training and it's scary looking and it makes you sweat. . . but it's absolutely horrifying when you actually feel how quickly it starts . This among other things is why I stopped doing tandems after only a year. But it's nice to say I did them for a while ;) ~~Zilla

I think it's as simple as the physical urge effects their mental urges (dreams) . .so they're asleep, having to really REALLY go and they start to dream that they're making their way to the bathroom. In their dream they find the toilet and "ahhhhhhh" start to go....unfortunately in real life, they are no where NEAR the toilet. Usually their still sitting on the top bunk, or standing in the corner of their buddies trailer at the DZ or . . .you name it...... Zilla (PS: Of course this has NEVER happened to me. . .I uh, , just have friends,uh who've had this happen. . yea. .that's it - giggle.)

Courtzilla . .. usually late at night at the DZ when enough brown liquor has passed my lips, I start crashing into things and wreaking havoc pretty much the way "Godzilla" does in the movies. . . .

Only three more days till the 1st Annual Blarney Over Orange Boogie (B.O.O.B)! March 16 & 17 Skydive Orange will have two Twin Otters and jumps are $15.00 from 13,000 feet. Registration for the boogie is $20.00 and includes a free boogie t-shirt and admittance to the cook out that Skydive Orange is hosting Saturday night (3/16/02 - you must have a registration wrist band to attend).
