  1. Ah so hypocrisy is OK when you do it - gotcha. (You have to admit - you set yourself up nicely there.) Non-sequitur. Try to stay on topic.
  2. " Liberals are the most hypocritical, intolerant people I know. It's great being the Gravitymaster. " Yes, you are and yes it is.
  3. Had to go back over 7 years ago to find that, did you? But of course, that's not even the issue. You were claiming you hit a nerve. That's hysterical. Try and keep up.
  4. That sounds about RIGHT ... Oh wait ..... No it doesn't If you were honest with yourself, you would have to admit that the most intolerant people on this site are those who describe themselves as progressives or liberals. Bashing religious people, bashing women, calling people dumb and stupid, ad hominem PA's etc. I'm not saying it doesn't happen with everyone from time to time and I am guilty of it myself. But it's way slanted to the left leaning.
  5. Did you think of that response all by yourself or did you need help? oops - think I hit a nerve Then you would be wrong again. Rote responses are laughable because they show a lack of creativity. Here, does this help?
  6. Did you think of that response all by yourself or did you need help?
  7. So as a rule, you are generally intolerant of someone's views whom you disagree with.
  8. Try religious fundamentalists like your pal Ron over there. No beating them... "Hey, you think I'm bad....lookit that guy over there. Now he's bad". Do you guys ever stop and look at yourselves? Even for a minute?
  9. I Agee. Liberals are the most hypocritical, intolerant people I know. It's great being the Gravitymaster.
  10. Probably thinks there are 57 States, too. Oh a moron would think that, don't you agree?
  11. This is what you get when necessities are handed out instead of being earned.
  12. Pipe bombs can be a great tool to effect social change.
  13. So do I! +2. All these lazy f*ckers need to get off their asses and start supporting themselves.
  14. Seems to be a lot of that going around these days. Chuck It starts when someone begins fearing inanimate objects. I sincerely hope a person like that is not able to purchase a gun, cordless drill or materials to make a pipe bomb. In fact I really hope they will recognize their irrationality and voluntarily refrain from voting.
  15. Again, thats a gun loving friend of yours' wet dream. gravitymaster is the one who thinks cordless drills are as useful as guns are in killing things. I never said such a thing. I said they are both designed to do the same thing ie make holes. The rest was stuff YOU made up. Sounds to me as if there is some disconnect from reality going on.
  16. What evidence is there to support that a ban on guns would achieve less gun violence? And if there was indeed less gun violence, what do you believe would be the effect (or non-effect) on other forms of violence? *** Sure its idealist, but what is so bad about that? Could there be circumstances where being an idealist is a bad thing? A kind of "road to hell paved with good intentions" kind of deal? Gee, after all, making drugs illegal stopped people from using drugs. No reason to think that outlawing guns would reduce their usage, also.
  17. That's because they have an idea of what it going to say so they are visiting their favorite websites to try and figure out how to keep defending it.
  18. Because, much to the chagrin of socialists like you, we have something called private property rights, here. To spell it out for you on a deeper level, someone owns those houses and probably doesn't want some welfare queen with 10 children by 8 different deadbeat males, living in them and tearing them up. We have tried building public housing for them and all they do is turn the neighborhood into a drug infested hell hole that requires they own a gun just to go back and forth when cashing their government checks.
  19. For those who want to ban AR-15s, it sure seems to matter, even though rifles are rarely used for crime. Now if we can just get Kallend to agree that it doesn't matter to victims if they're killed with guns or knives or bats, then we'll really be making progress. When we can get you gun nuts to agree that it is way easier/faster/more effective to shoot 12 people than it is to kill them with cordless drills and ping pong balls we will be making progress. When we can get you gun nuts to agree that a crazy person like this man would be much less dangerous if armed with baseball bats, hockey sticks, and samurai swords, than with a shotgun and handgun, then we are making progress. When we can get you anti-2nd Amendment Gun-o-phobes to realize that when someone is bent on a mass killing, that the gun is only one tool. If you take it away, they will use pipe-bombs, swords, IED's or whatever else they can ge their hands on at the time to kill, then we will be making progress. When we can get you to understand that the problem is in our society and not in the availability of guns, then we will be making progress.
  20. That would be pretty grisly, for sure. I think the large availability and relatively low price of a Black and Decker or a Machita make them a favored weapon of Pro-Drillers.
  21. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/britishtrained-police-in-iraq-killed-prisoners-with-drills-516158.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1141594/Jealous-husband-murdered-wife-killed-electric-drill-ended-marriage-Facebook.html You can have my electric drill when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
  22. More freedom & more personal responsibility / accountability = more people acting like dicks to each other. Just look at the interpersonal interaction on the internet, for example. I cannot even begin to fathom this level of crazy.
  23. Once again Dunning-Krueger rears it's ugly head. You do realize that the current labor situation is due to government mandated nearly unbridled capitalism? Loose labor laws are hardly enforced by a corrupt government where nepotism is rampant. You are right that average citizen does not enjoy "freedom" as you classically describe it. Yet large corporations, sometimes state owned or co-owned enjoy immense freedom at the expense of it's workers... Sorry you failed China 101. Actually - it looks like you proved his point for him. He has but Dunning Krueger will not allow him to see it.
  24. Oh, now it's shotguns? I thought it was "Assault Weapons".
