  1. Very interesting. I watch this show like it has the answers of the world in it. I never thought of any of this. Very interesting. --I still want to know about "Jacob". I thought the only person who could see him was Locke. But when Hurley peeked in the window, we plainly saw a man who *wasn't* Locke rocking in the chair. --Such a good show!!!!
  2. oh no no, i didn't mean that he's talking me into it. like i said, he's been very responsible about telling me the good with the bad. so if i choose to do it, it will be because i've done my homework and made the decision for myself. :D i'm finding a wealth of info here though and am loving it!!!

    Wrong number fun

heh I must admit, I used to do this often when I was in college. It was too much fun playing with the boys!
  4. You are doing the perfect thing! When I am trying to safe stuff for clients, I upload them to a place like ofoto so it's outside of my office, I burn a CD, Keep them on the hard drive of my laptop and then place them on an external harddrive in a different part of my home. Now, this is all a little extreme if you're not shooting for a client. But most definitely, burn them to a CD, put them in a jewel case that is labeled and then catalogue them somewhere like a book case or filing cabinet. good luck! courtney
  5. I haven't really decided. A friend of mine has asked me to jump with him at some point. He wants me to do it with him this summer. So, I'm guessing at least one jump which would be tandem right? If I end up falling in love with it, then possibly more! I'm still kinda nervous about it and trying to find out more about it before I make the decision. My friend is very responsible about jumping and tell me the bad with the good. courtney

    Best SLR?

One of the cameras I own is the D80. I love it. Now, I can't believe I have stumbled upon the Canon, alternate universe here! I must say, and this is the honest truth, in my many years of being a professional photographer, I have never met so many canon users. But I *do* have to admit, I don't skydive (seriously considering it) so I haven't shot while jumping. One more thing I have to admit, it *is* much like the Pepsi, Coke debate. I will say that someone above mentioned that Nikon's customer service sucks. I find it quite opposite. I have met a number of those folks and have found that they go over and above anything that they really needed to do. I am a member of Nikon Professional Services and am quite happy with going with Nikon. lol good luck
  7. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ I am a professional photographer and this is where I purchase the bulk of my stuff. Good luck!

    Best SLR?

I am a professional photographer. SLR= Single Lens Reflex. I am assuming you are speaking of a digital SLR since no one wants to use film anymore (which I think is ridiculous). Go with a Nikon. They are very user friendly. I have been shooting with them for years. The Nikon D50 seems to be a fave amoung amateurs. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
  9. That's creepy. Is this like a groundhog day?? C
  10. Hey y'all. A friend invited me to dropzone in hopes I'll start jumping with him. ;) I am giving serious consideration but am still learning. I don't really know what else to say here other than, I'm learning a lot! Courtney
  11. The greatest warm alcoholic bev is a Tom and Jerry. You make a batter, warm some milk, add the batter, and a splash (or more) of rum I believe. Look up the recipe online. I don't have it with me. We have it every Christmas eve. good luck!!! courtney
  12. lol it's quite possibly one of the hottest things ever! and it's even hotter when said guy kisses girl after going down on her!! ;) nice topic
