  1. Hopefully he is not the same guy (from that area) that came to Skydive Dallas. What do you know about him?? Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  2. What? Learning to fly a canopy? It IS mandatory for an A license. Yea learning is required, but not to the level it should be. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  3. Take airtwardo's advice. Go to DZ with no intension of jumping and see how you feel. Watch other students jump, maybe you will remember what you are missing. Or maybe not , but it wont hirt to sit around for a day and find out. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  4. Didnt know your instructor had talked to you about it. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  5. After all, the canopy ride is the longest part of the jump - might as well make the most of it! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Not only that most injuries and deaths are under good flying canopys. People are not learning to fly there canopys, then are taking them for granite. I believe it should be mandatory for an A Lic. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  6. I have 2 Sabre 2 170's, same WL as you (1.1). I have taken a canopy course and there is plenty of performace in these things for someone of my level of exp. Dont get in a rush to possiably end your skydiving carear, you have plenty of time to do that down the road. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  7. Go to your instructor and ask why he did not talk to you about this after that jump during debreif. This is not a sport where an instructor should jump expect that you learned your lesson. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  8. I have nothing against your selectionj, just my opinion that i have formed from others opinions. I dont have enough exp. in this sport to tell others what is right or wrong, just my opinion. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  9. Did tom help you select size?? I have heard those exact words out of his mouth( about size below 150). Good idea to get someone else to jump it. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  10. You need to get with Jeff or Tom (both riggers at SDD) and talk to them. Anything under a 150 is high perfomance reguadless of wing loading. You should not be jumping that canopy. This is why it is so wild, when opening (due to body position or packing) . Please reconsider your canopy. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  11. They clearlly state watch self test untill unit says 0. What do you want them to do, do a maditory recall??? They also clearlly state if this happens then contact them before the next jump. I dont recall them basically saying "live with it" they say contact them before next jump. What in the world would you expect them to do????? Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
  12. You should know by now that plenty of people will help you at SDD. Nice rig, sure you will enjoy it. I was so happy when i got my first new rig. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!
