  1. VivaHD, That sounds awesome! Damn, I wish I could be there. My boyfriend just informed me (girls, don't you love how they wait until the last minute to tell you these things) that his best friends wedding is that day so I am expected to go w/ him.....IN A DRESS! YUCK! I don't have one and it's too short notice to get one so I'll be going as is
  2. PLFXpert

    A trend?

Nope, I posted right away too. It's nice to have you
  3. OHHHHHH, sorry Pammi. I speed read the posts sometimes when I don't have much time to post
  4. Where is your sense of humor?????? Actually though, yea, it's *almost* as good b/c my entire tax return ($550) goes to pay last months rent and last months cell phone bill that I didn't have the $$$ for. I get $10 out of it. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  5. Skymama, It sounds like you're an awesome mom. I love kids. I work with them and used to tutor them and I still volunteer at the homeless kids shelter in dowtown Orlando. I just don't want any of my own
  6. When in Virginia..........he he he....couldn't resist
  7. Haven't gotton mine yet. But it sounds like they're cute. What I DID get in the mail today was my TAX RETURN!!!! which is *almost* as good as the T-shirt.
  8. Thanks guys! Wingnut, we were in Jacksonville and the military base is in (or near) Orange Park which is close to the Panhandle. My boyfriend's brother, who we were with, is in the Airforce and had flown in from Texas on his jet w/ a student. He mentioned what kind of planes they were but I forgot. I do remember him saying it could hold over 100 jumpers though
  9. Hey guys, Well, for all of you, like me, who didn't get to jump this past weekend, I just wanted to share. Even though it was the PERFECT weekend here in Florida to jump (low winds, blue skies the whole time) I don't get my first paycheck until this Friday (so I will be jumping my ass of this weekend, YIPPEE!) but I did want to say, that despite how bad it sux not being able to jump, I had a great weekend! Went jet-sking all day Friday and fishing; went wakeboarding all day on Saturday, and my favorite; went ocean kayaking all day on Sunday and then to Blues Fest. Of course, once at Blues Fest, all I could think about was how cool it would have been to be able to *jump* into it....ha ha ha. And of course, while we were in the kayak, we kept seeing those damn advertising planes fly overhead and kept trying to figure out if they were high enough to jump out of. We decided yes, if we had a BASE rig. Also, while we were wakeboarding, there is a military base not far from the lake we were on and so these huge, Casa-like planes kept flying overhead too. Not to mention all the houses on the lake with huge backyards that my boyfriend decided he could swoop into and I could also land in. Oh, and quite a bit of flags were flying off the docks and we found ourselves planning our landing from those military planes flying. DAMNIT! So much for trying to keep my mind off it but I still had a lot of fun. So, I just wanted to say, that when you aren't able to jump, for whatever reason (and I know there's more of you out there after reading some of the posts) that you can still have a pretty good time, as good as it can get w/out being able to skydive
  10. Hi Junky, Nice to see you around again
  11. Hey Tee, Sorry I didn't post sooner as I just got in from the weekend. The next 4 months will be hell but once they're over you will pick up right where you left off. The skies and all of us will be waiting to jump with you again! Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  12. VivaHD, When are you leaving? I'm trying to find out if I'll get a chance to meet you in Deland before you go. I'll be out there next weekend and most every weekend after that (unless I'm jumping in Palatka or Sebastian.) It would be cool to meet you. As for the waves, you just need a fun-shape
  13. Awesome! Right on! Skydiving is how I met my boyfriend. I went through my AFF and didn't know many people since I came during the week when there were no fun jumpers so 3 months later (I only did 2 levels a month due to money) I started jumping on the weekends and met my boyfriend my first weekend off student status. He's never had a skydiving girlfriend before. Maybe it's that, or maybe it was something else but I don't think it's coincidence that we want to be together forever now
  14. lisa, I'm stoked for you. I understand about back problems although I've never experienced what you have gone through. See you in the skies, in June! Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
  15. Actually, Froggie, I think it's the ones who DON'T use computers that are the *geeks*. At least, that's what I keep calling my boyfriend who just had a laptop given to him but I still can't get him to check out the dz.com threads. RIGHT ON, VIVAHEADDOWN! Good advice. I got nothing but love for the 420 boogie
  16. He he he.....it's all about the love, Merrick. Much love and blue skies, Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/ PS....still PLFXpert, still in news reporting class, still bored
  17. He he he......right on, Merrick. Keep ole' one eye seeing straight
  18. Hey guys, I'm out for the weekend....I'll have to catch up on Monday
  19. Okay, this is a boloney post but I just like to be on top
  20. Hey, who are you calling an oxymoron?
  21. Awwww, Merrick, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to leave you out. You can reach down and feel for yourself too
  22. He he he...so Freaksis, it sounds as if I guessed almost accurately. You're getting the girls' pierced, your ta-ta's, melons, baby-suckers, the twins, sand-dollars, boobies, chimmy-changas, and my personal favorite, Titys! Good for you. All the more reason to play with them. I keep playing with mine but they still won't grow. But it feels good all the same. As far as piercing vs. tattos, I have 2 tat's going on 3 and eventually 4 (I have 2 more in mind that I want.) I LOVE them and they weren't painful at all. I have a hibiscous surf flower w/ ocean waves on my mid-lower back and I have a lil' crescent moon and stars inside my left hipbone, kinda low (I like to call it dreamland...he he he, at least it was for the tattoo artist.) But as for ever getting my Virginia pierced, she's pretty enough without the jewlrey. My girl likes it au-natural for the big red eye
  23. Hiya Rodeo. We're stoked to have you. The rules are: you can't be shy and always have to be willing to share the details, graphically
  24. I haven't seen it. Sounds kinda funny though
