  1. Sad news. Can someone explain what happened? There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  2. Seeing a lot of people using Liquid with scripts. Never tried but am wondering if someone could give me advice on not only the best frames with prescription but what brand actually works the best. I know this will be subjective like saying fly an Icarus over a PD, or the other way around as to not offend, but in this case I'm sick of prescription goggles and would love a pair of sunglasses that actually work. 3. Ok well thank you for the reply. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  4. Not sure if this is the correct spot to post this question so please forgive me if I'm in the wrong spot. Can anyone tell me the highest flight level the Mullins King Air is capable of reaching? We are trying to set a particular record and need a plane that will reach and exceed 31,500AGL. If anyone can furnish me this knowledge I would greatly appreciate it. 5. I guess I didn't notice that. Do you think this is a rig that was built and never picked up or is it a used rig? There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  6. Anybody familiar with Mirage systems and their sizing could you tell me if this container would fit me? 7. Thanks very much! I was hoping the tangerine was brighter but no such luck. Blue ones, There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  8. Can anyone tell me the difference between tangerine and orange. I'm wanting to build a new Crossfire 2 and want the brightest orange available. The Icarus website said tangerine is more readily available and orange might not be in stock. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!! 9. I think the question is what's the best container for you? I've flown with many different systems. All have pro's and cons but ultimately it just ends up with whatever feels and works best for the individual. I started with Javelins many moons ago and somehow gravitated to Mirage. Been with them for quite some time and couldn't be happier. Comfortable, functional and very well built. Certainly doesn't mean the best, even though I think so, but it is the best for me. 12. I'm heading to New Mexico to the balloon festival with some friends and was wondering if there are any balloon pilots that allow skydivers to jump. I've never been to this event so I'm wondering rules and regulations that would or would not allow jumping. If anyone knows of any pilots who will be there or any other info I would greatly appreciate it. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  13. Just curious if they are launching any tandems out of this craft. I thought I was spoiled years ago doing a tandem out of an otter but this would take the cake for any newbies. Imagine telling your friends you skydived and then telling them you did it from a jet. As if you didn't need video for proof from a regular plane, this would take the cake. 15. Not only was he kind enough to shoot my wedding video but look at the attached picture and see if you can figure out how good a friend he really was. Anyone who has this sheet will know what it means. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  16. Wish I could have jumped with you one last time. Or at least done one of your other favorite sports, drinking beer, one last time. I'll miss never being able to see you or your gassed up bulldogs. Say hello to Henry for me, I'm sure you guys are already talking shit about us and he's probably driving your nuts. Blue ones always...... There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  17. Couldn't agree more. I'll wait a couple of years before even considering buying one. Even after they've been on the market for a few years, I highly doubt I'll feel the need to get one. (Not concerned with having a tiny cool rig. I suppose I could upsize my reserve (currently just over 1:1) but I'd still want to wait it out). I wouldn't use one during the first couple of years even if it was given to me for free. Same goes for a brand new kind of rig or AAD too. No thanks! Doesn't matter to me which manufacturer comes out with it, I don't want to participate in the trial period. I would agree with you all on just about any other product other then gear from PD. It's beta tested thousands of jumps so in effect it has been out for years. I've purchased just about every new canopy PD has come out with over the years from the Sabre to the Velocity and never had issues with any of them. The Spectre, Stilleto and Velocity are all the same canopies they were years ago when they were introduced. Anyway, it's what your comfortable with that matters. 18. Just got my new Skydiving magazine and what do you know, PD's smaller packing reserve is finally coming to fruition. I was under the assumption that it wasn't going to happen because the materials manufacturer went out of business. PD not that long ago said it was going to take some time to find a replacement but obviously they found one. Does anyone know who their using now? Not that it matters as I trust the company completely, it's just more out of curiosity. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  19. I just got mine from Bonehead and it's a top mount absolutely perfect d-box. I will post pics beginning of the week once it's mounted. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  20. I got my d-box for my HC3 from Bonehead a few days ago. I had sent my camera in a short time ago so they could make the mold for the HC3 and let me tell you it's absolutely perfect. Fits like an OJ Simpson glove. You will be more than happy with the d-box and the quality of the build. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  21. Just out of curiosity, what camera helmet setup are you using with the HC3? There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.

No problems here and it takes a fair amount of normal wear and tear. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  23. That is correct, there is no backlight for the LED screen on the back of the unit. The light is on the front for the altimeter. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
  24. Alright, my unit is not broken because I called Square 2 and had them try to turn on another unit they had and they had no luck either. Here's the problem. The directions tell you just to press the right access button but you have to perform the right access exactly like the left access. You'll press the button and release, then press it and hold until the green light on the front goes solid, then press and release again. Bam, you'll have a backlight! I found this out accidently by performing the left access function on the right thinking they might have just assumed we should know this even though it's not stated that way in the manual. If you get confused just look in your manual at how to do a left access and do that for the right access and you will be in clover.
