  1. POV is easy. Will do some next week-end. Must see for ground. Maybe not that soon.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53egmyIGb38 Did my first 2 jumps yesterday. 1 Jump: Jumped from 3900, pulled on 2500m (no camera) Perfect onheading opening not too slow and not too fast. Found it twitchier than my Velocity 90 for harness, backrisder and toggle imput. Frontriser pression was less than my Velo 90. I love this quick response on harness input. First swoop of course much too high 2nd Jump: More or less jump and pull from 1500m. GoPro mounted to foot. I sticked my leg with the camera to the front to video the opening (usually a stupid idea), but the canopy still opened nearly extactly on heading. I was really surprised. 2nd swoop of too high again (of course). Had to leave for other appointments and left my rig at the dropzone for some others to test. They were all amazed about it. Think Attila will soon get some new orders ;-). My canopy seems to have became a demo canopy
  3. Just got my new JFX 87 on Tuesday. Will probably do the first jumps tomorrow. Maybe I can do a video of the opening so we have a better reference than the one that allready exists on Youtube Price was 2400 USD with black 400 HMA lineset incl. shipping.

  5. thanks for all the info. Probably you are all right. For teamtraining and competition it is a bit too much. I'll check for a smaller one.
  6. Hi everyone I am still videoflying my old SONY PC2 for Teamvideo and am thinking of some kind of upgrade. Currently I have to opportunity to purchase a used, nearly new Sony HVR-A1E for app. 1k$. Price seems to be more than fair. Anyway. I am looking for a way to protect this (topmounted) camera. Anyone heard of anything that works with this model? Happy for any help. Thanks...and blue skies
  7. ...you are right. It's not only the humidity. I would like to protect my cam from all kind of things.
  8. Hi everybody Since my (still perfectly running) Sony PC2 was a loyal friend for years but is not satisfying my qualtiy needs anymore I am intending to purchase something new. I am flying an older Bonehead helmet with a Bonehead sidemounted cameracase and a selfeconstructed topmount Canon 350D platform. In fact I would really love to have both things running the same time (video and photo) but am thinking to have the video on top to increase the angle to my 4-RW-team (I allready fly partly in the burbles of the team below but can still increase my skills anyway). I do not have enought money to buy a Sony HC3 and the therefore required computer hard- and software to cut HD-videos but, Sony HC3 is able to do SD (DV) as well, if I am not wrong. I could afford the HC3 itselfe. In fact I would then be "HD-ready" . The other possibility would be to buy a Sony PC1000, which would fit directly in my existing sidemounted cameracase (some small adjustments to get to the LANC-port are needed). Anyway, If I mount a HC3 on top I do not want to have it "naked" there beeing exposed directly to possible humidity. My team would not really appreciate me saying: "I don't jump now because this cloud overhead is wet and could probably destroy my camera." ==> I would need to have a cameracase.
  9. Hi Mike Short after following this link to the helmet-cut-away I have ordered one. Got it soon after payment --> nice contat. For my bonehead it was a question of 5 minutes to mount this system. I would really recommend it. The mounting instructions are imho not too good. You need some logic thinking of what will happen when you pull the cut-way-handle. Anyway, its a good solution and a must for people as me having a sidemounted PC2 and topmounted EOS350
