Last weekend was indeed awesome. So excited for this season and plenty more flocking at SDC.

not a fan of all white canopies because they're hard to see among clouds in the sky.

I have a V308 with a 139 Safire2 and a 120 Smart. Fits really well. Main is tight, but not so much that it's hard to pack. Those are listed under the same categories (full fit for the main, standard for the reserves) as your canopies, so I imagine you should be fine.

yeah, it was really tough to tell which of the many "Skittles" that run around SDC you are. :) Hint - my real name is the same as my name on here. now, you just have to figure out how to pronounce it

although I missed sunday's successful attempt at the POPs record, I totally enjoyed watching it on friday and saturday! as a new jumper, I get nervous just seeing all those canopies in the air. The best though was watching 80+ people land out Friday morning!

I'm new too and know exactly how you feel....everything else seems to pale in comparison! Driving to work while the skies were clear and blue today was torture!

Hi chykynlyps, i'm new too....did 3 tandems and am ready to go it alone, starting this weekend...if the weather doesn't stop me that is.. I'm also from Chicago, but jumping at Skydive Chicago.

Thanks for the welcomes! skymama - I'm already eyeing my cd collection to start with. :) I am now registered for AFP class starting Friday, jumping Saturday. So excited! (and scared)

Hi all, New to skydiving and new here... Did my first tandem one month ago and have not stopped thinking about it since. Did another tandem this past Friday. As my friend and I were in the car leaving (she did her first), I suddenly realized I was not ready to go home quite yet, so we turned back and each did one more. I am super addicted. I don't have the money or time for this and have been trying to rationalize my way out of signing up for AFP, but theres no way thats happening now. I can't even drive w/o looking at the sky and thinking "I belong there". Hopefully, I will be starting AFP next Friday, as long I will be able to get off work early enough...will find out tomorrow and am crossing my fingers... I have been lurking here since my first jump and finally decided to give in and post...so hi everyone :)
