1. Hey, CDB is good, but I challenge anyone to go to a Celine Dion concert and not walk away enamored. Her Vegas show is spectacular, and proves it by the ticket sales since it's almost over - last show, Dec. 15th, some tickets are $6,000.00 dollars. Several years ago, my godmother Sylvia demanded I go with her to the BJCC in downtown Birmingham, since one of the First Wives Club canceled on her. I did this, begrudgingly, and to my fortune, left there a Celine fan. Roll Tide Roll
2. If you insist: (I'm sorry about the visual here - it's the best sound quality I could find) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wb41-jqiyE Roll Tide Roll
3. Lyrics origin - maybe. Spirit - debatable. I'll give you your native Dixie Chicks, though, there, Tex. Roll Tide Roll
4. Change your two $1.00 bills and plant eight Quarter trees, there, Jack. Roll Tide Roll
5. Who is Ben? Ben Dover? I've heard of him. Who is Skyride? I was talking about the Democrats and the Republicans. Third Party!!! Roll Tide Roll
6. But if I were a sly-thinking man, I would challenge the ethics of the (implied-only) powers-that-be, and scoff at their polite admonition over a long and courteous period of time. Then, once I had thrown sand in their faces, I would blatantly defy them with my bold confidence - and later, when they chose to distance themselves from me and my organization, I would sue them (in the Great American Way), and somehow, some way, in my own conniving and Machiavellian fashion, end up with a select few of decision-makers out of the silent majority. Everyone has their price, n'est pas? I would work it somehow (with the help of those Excellent Citizens on board), that a current administration would have votes and opinions (presumed representative of a majority) suppressed and manipulated, so that the Representative Democracy was made null and void, thereby accomplishing my goal, with the help of those numbnuts mentioned earlier... No representation is made that the quality of ethical services is greater than the quality of ethical services provided by other orifices... Roll Tide Roll
7. AND YOU...STOP LOOKING AT ME WITH THOSE GOOGLY EYES! Roll Tide Roll
8. Ummm, she may be French-Canadian, but she is not a flake - though when she tries to sound USA-comical, it may appear that way. Still, even though I loved your song in another setting, I would by far take Celine's backdrop as opposed to your offering of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Goth Prequel Acoustic." Besides, their "simple man" is a rip from my CDB brethren here. Roll Tide Roll
9. What is the dollar value of several hundred websites with a couple dozen toll-free numbers, and with derelict impotent and overcompensating numbnuts who temporarily rent their integrity to monitor incoming-call lines at the whims of those they have probably heard of but have never met; who are naive enough to be impressed by a facade of MTV-Crib-worthy excess by which they themselves (being so easily susceptible) are used as pawns to temporarily ensure they will be reigning at the end, sort of like those winners...nee weiners were left holding the bag at the end of Stephen King's The Stand. Boom. Roll Tide Roll
10. ...I believe that any other comparison of Christmas song or singer falls short: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Jr-2eyRtV4 Roll Tide Roll
11. Ghost-riding - that was funny. It reminds me from the cockpit side of the wall of pictures I've seen of when a snake happens to get under the hood of someone's car, and they try to start it. Roll Tide Roll
12. See what I mean? No. At least you would know enough to not kill it. Roll Tide Roll
13. They can dig, can't they? I don't know, can they? Hmmmm, so you went out and took on this project - wait, pet project (oddly poetic, a snake and a big rat) - without first becoming thoroughly informed as to the scheme of the whole thing. And you stated elsewhere that the snake died soon after your acquiring? They should hire you as hit-man (or woman) at the kill shelter. And by the time you realize the damage to yourself, your project, and others innocent, it will probably be too late. You should have gotten a Pet Rock with that gift certificate, like everyone else did... Roll Tide Roll
14. Still, the tailbone pad helped my fear of falling backward, and seriously improved my performance. It worked that way it should, too. I probably weigh a lot more than the average boarder (not fat). Roll Tide Roll
15. He had a run-in with a gun charge a while back, and if he didn't have a gun at this time, it was possibly because he was obeying court order. That is sad. Roll Tide Roll
16. One half-day lesson, then another full-day lesson the next day. WRIST GUARDS, GOOD TAILBONE PAD, HELMET. Don't be afraid to fall, and flat terrain is not your friend. Lean down the hill - as far as you can. You will feel at first like you're leaning farther than you really are. Don't give up if it's something you really want to do. Roll Tide Roll
17. Basically you have been between a snake and a rat. Kinda fits your signature line. Got any more images of this thing with you clearly holding it, like maybe a few common phone pictures? Roll Tide Roll
18. I don't think a hit at all, not to kill him anyway - I think it was assumed that shooting him in the leg would only temporarily disable him, for the robbery, not for the game. His home was burglarized and ransacked just a few weeks ago already. From what I have seen, he's had major trouble recently with old friends and cousins wanting their usual piece of the pie of his success - just watch "MTV Cribs" and see the "posse" sitting in front of the 60" plasmas playing X-Box and sipping Cristal while eating Jeno's pizza rolls for example. Everyone thinks they deserve a Whip. I predict he will be shown to be a victim of his trying to distance himself from the leeches. Roll Tide Roll
19. I think this is the crux. The university is going to make such insurance and liability demands on the group and the dz & sponsors to offset its risk that it won't be feasible. Their perception will already be prejudiced, and they obviously don't want to do it anyway. Roll Tide Roll
20. minmal, I don't know if I missed it somewhere - are you male or female. How old are you? Roll Tide Roll
21. Check this out. "Life Thrills." I could not figure out how to link directly to the particular video, but it's one of the few "consumer report" segments. Probably all made up anyway, as usual, to defame entrepreneurial ingenuity... edit - direct link a couple of posts below - (Thanks) About halfway down, look for the outline of the small hot-air balloon in the left corner of the picture. 22. I have thought about this too, but from a slightly different angle, and I am wondering what the USPA lawyers had to say at the time, and what changed now - but at the same time keep in mind that both items posted here concerning any re-admittance have not been shown as fact, either. I also remember the following line from the press release: "USPA has retained counsel and intends to vigorously defend against these claims, which are without merit." What (or who) changed? Who steered this decision, as opposed to who initiated and implemented the removal? I shouldn't even speculate until the final information is made public, but still I wonder. Roll Tide Roll
23. We're not *all* from Bendovern' squeal, Alabama. If it were only a DZO problem, that's good enough to be involved in my book, and if this is your position, then right back at ya: if you are not a DZO to benefit from it, why do you care enough to defend? I recall being told a few years ago by both USPA as well as several distant DZO's that this little problem was basically a "Southern Thang" which didn't concern them (at the time). So here we are fast-forward to "sooner than you thought," Alabama is one of the few states where their GCs couldn't be redeemed within the hallowed borders but for the fact that they actually have a dropzone here, albeit part-time now...as a matter of fact, I don't think any other dz in the state has ever taken their certificates - not many can say that.
