  1. I just got a new stiletto 170 a few months ago loading @ about 1.23 im starting the basics of swooping, I have had a solid pattern for many jumps and am wondering what the next steps would be, maybe using front risers on my pattern turns rather than than toggles?? not sure, just looking for some advice here. ripping my head off is not going to chanage my mindset.. just not sure on the best way to learn is.. people have told me a few different ways... thanks for helping. the big dirty
  2. i don't think they are missing, when my dad was down visiting me over christmas he was saying something about diggin' up old footage and pics he had along with his log books that where somewhere in the attic at the house. When I move home in april i will find them.. i want to see what was going on in the "good ol' days" i hear so many stories from dave t. my dad and the rest of the gang at l.p should be good shit, i know there are atleast 5 or 10 photo albums at the house with pics from all over the place from the early days, all sitting in the closet. have to spend a couple days lookin through them
  3. I did my first 6 jumps on a manta 288, quit for 8 months and made 4 jumps on a navigator 240 (zp) then made 8 jumps on a sabre 210 ( also ZP) then bought my own sabre 2 190 and have jumped that ever since, i loaded my sabre 2 @ 1.1 when i made my first jump on it(with only 21 jumps), a little fast progression but i have a feeling i wasn;t the only on moving that along that quick the big dirty

  10. just trying to get some advice here, I have a Sbare 2 190 with about 70 jumps on this canopy, 1.05:1. Looking at downsizing to a sabre 2 170 1.1:1 not a real big change, I have maybe 85 jumps. told the guys at the dropzone but didn't get much response, Havn't burned in on my 190 at all since i have had it, and have also had some low turns that scared me earlier on but my feet never touched the ground hard. Makes me proud of what happend with lost prairie, where i came from. I would rather jump with the old time osprey jumpers anyday. Oh yeah and mcissac (sp) will be greatly missed, one of the best guys I knew tought me allot about skydiving. Well, the skydive sounds like a plan, just got my own gear and have bean jumping my ass off the last couple weeks, anyways ill be home for the boogie and the week after... so lets make a few jumps. the big dirty

  20. fred, lenny mikey and lena I hope you are all staying strong, what a tragedy. My prayers and thoughts are with every one in the prairie. Joel, dave and the rest of the crew will be sorely missed. Joel, my first true friend in skydiving caring, funny and spontaneous although we never got to make that jump we planned all those night last summer, someday.. I hope you all stay strong, my condolences to the families of the lost, Fred or mikey, Want' you to know I will be their for the boogie anything you need at all do not hesitate to ask, anything at all. I know i might not be able to do allot because of my inexperience but please keep in mind. I hope you all stay strong through these rough times B.S.B.D Adam the big dirty

  23. I got a hell of a deal on the rig, I bought the rig for $1000 a talon one container, a 175 reserve and this sabre, I am about 6'0 185 lbs so i think it is a little small to start out with so im trying to get into a sabre 2 210 or something of that sort, maybe a spectra the big dirty
