try SPYBOT or ADAWARE. Both are free, and between the two of them, get rid of 99.9% of the malware and spy programs out there. And, like someone else said previously, AVG is great anti virus software, and like spybot and adaware, is free. I haven't paid for any anti virus or spyware programs in years.

my HC3 shit the bed in Eloy and I got a similar quote from Sony to fix it. I live in Ct and did some research on line and found a place in Massachusetts called Sanford Camera repair. They fixed it for under $200 and it has worked fine ever since. Obviously, cost is going to depend on what went wrong, but it was guaranteed work and saved me $300. Good luck.

This past weekend while in Eloy I was shooting some video on my HC3. While reviewing some tape, the camera suddenly and without warning shit the bed. Completely lost power as I was looking at the screen. Swapped batteries, still absolutely nothing, dead camera. So, my dilema is, I have an HC3 with no warranty but is new to me, a tape in the unit that I can't get out, and a dead camera. Does anyone have any clue as to what may have happened here besides the obvious (dead camera). I do not want to send it to a local camera shop just to be told that they need to send it to Sony. Anyone (DSE) know where I could ship it to get it looked at, tape retrieved, etc... thanks all.

just went through the whole selection process of either adding an HC3 to my N Vertigo X or getting a new helmet. I finally settled (bad choice of words), came to the conclusion, that the N Vertigo would not work. I purchased a 2K Composites FF3. From alot of questions and research, I decided that this helmet would provide me the most flush side mount possible with the HC3. I wanted to keep the top free for still photography later on down the road. Check out their website. Check the post from the 11th on here if you haven't all ready, it was insightful.

recently purchased a Sony HC3. I had entertained putting it onto my N Vertigo X helmet but have veered away from that. Mostly going to use it for filming freeflying but steadily improve towards tandems etc... Any thoughts out there from different people on what you're using?? thanks

I currently have a Skysystems N Vertigo X helmet. I am going to be purchasing an HC3. It appears as though it would be a wide side mount. The flat top area on the N Vertigo is not exactly huge. Has anyone flat mounted either cookies box or skysytems box to the top of this helmet?

check out skydivect.com. It's located in Ellington. Not sure where you're at, but it's where I did my AFF. You would jump with 2 AFF instructors holding onto you for the first few jumps. The instructors are second to none.

don't have a tempurpedic but I have a sleep number bed. After 3 mattresses in 4 years, I got sick and tired of not being satisified and got the sleep number. I love it. My wife and I can adjust our individual sides to our liking. I'd highly recommend it. Not saying anthing bad about tempurpedic, just love my sleep number

yup, been there done that too. Everyone is different as far as the healing goes, but it's not to bad, just take it easy. My personal experience is that usually after the morning coffee's, it's "go" time. No further explanation necessary. Sometimes, for no particular reason, i can eat a meal mid or late day and it's the same thing "go" time, like almost immediately following the meal. I think it has to do with the fact that there is no longer a gall bladder to regulate how much bile gets dumped into your system, it justs gets dumped in. Good luck.

Common sense should prevail here. In all likelyhood, if you brought it to the police, and explained it as "found" as opposed to being caught with it, they'd simply write a report and destroy it. That being said, in my professional opinion, just flush it if you haven't sone so all ready. You're gonna save yourself the trip, the story, the worry of "what if they don't believe me", and you're gonna save someone the time it takes to write up a report. We (yes, i'm a cop) typically don't arrest people that bring us drugs. We arrest people that sell them and get caught with them on them. If you chose to have someone that may, ahem, occasionally dabble with extracurricular after hours activities such as coke or meth, think of the ramifications if they get caught with it. What if it is a lethal or dangerous mix (the cutting agent used with the drug), or just a real lethal dose. Where did it come from?? etc... Just flush it.
