Over the years I have made a habit of letting new jumpers try and buy used gear from me. Always at extremely generous dollar values. And always they do right by me in the end. I also have a tendency to let them develop the payment terms. I believe the spending your dollars on skydives at that stage is better than spending it on expensive gear. Gear never made anybody fly better, safer maybe , but never better. Anyway, I am reaching a point that has me borderline upset. There is a young jumper who has a complete rig from since early last summer that has not made any attempt to contact me for some time now. I try emailing him and it bounced as undeliverable. I leave messages at his parents home where he lives(?) but get no response. I heard rumors he may be in the Fort Wayne area these days. I am not going to mention names as I am still willing to give the (thread title). What's a guy to do, I mean in my younger years there were ways I would have dealt with this issue, but I am older and gentler these days. Thoughts out there, cause I would hate to get a bad taste in my mouth and not do for younger jumpers what people did for me in my early days. We did that, only with 400 pounds of ANFO and a M-60 tank last year.

You definately do not want to travel to warm climates. This will only cause additional discomfort and posiibly increase the risk of making it worse. The best thing you can do is expose the offending ear to cold wind, if there are small ice crystals inthe air stream it would be much better for you. I suggest that you consider giving me your ticket to travel with Gomie and keep him company while you stay here and shovel my driveway. I would be willing to sacrafice myself for you in this way since you are such a dear friend. Anyway who would really want to spend a week with that guy on a warm beach or skydiving in the buff over the blue Pacific anyway!!! Somehow I just knew I should not have opened this thread. Being that I am at work, and the visuals combined with my sick mind have caused a physicle reaction that now force me to remain seated at my desk. I really need to be on the floor shooting training videos. If I loose my job for not getting my work done you will both need to care for me until I can again enter the work force, which as you are aware takes awhile based on past experiences. hmmmmm...
