After reading many of your posts, I've come to the conclusion that you are PA removed by slotperfect. But seriously you seem to have all the right answers when it comes to running a DZ, who why aren't you in business full time? Yes i also find it strange that he goes out of his way to complain about a dz opening up in fitzgerald when he had an opportunity to open up himself

who should pay for cutaway costs
g2gjump replied to tws3998's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
If that is your attitude towards a legitimate question, then i ask you to please refrain from posting. I couldn't give a flying fuck what you ask. Do they have a new Mod training program here that we don't know about? I think I got the point across as to how stupid it would be to ask a packer to pay for your gear. If that bothers you, land with your freebag. Sorry i asked, I will let you finish your temper-tantrum -

You mean besides the thought that a Katana 135 loaded at 1.5 at 200 jumps is a significantly bad choice? Thats not the issue here. Don't be so quick to spout off your speculative nonsense. He may or may not have filled out his profile recently.

can't really blame the canopy or the packer for that one... it is YOUR job to let the packers know how you would like your rig packed.

I am curious about this as well, thanks for bring the subject up!

So you expect all the people KK screwed to just forget about it and bury the hatchet?

Wether or not Gary (Karnage krew) is financially viable it doesn't change the fact he owes people money. You are saying since he doesn't have the money, he doesn't owe them(customers) Man up and let us know who you are then, otherwise you have no credibility in this forum.

Your statment still doesn't change the fact that he still owes his customers lots of money seriously your trolling isn't fooling anyone

I'll never understand why people are not more careful with such a purchase. because he used to have a fucking good reputation on here; and most threads that critisised him in the past were either deleted or locked. It's who you know or who you blow. how informative of you to say that -
Addressing Safety Concerns (Individuals)
g2gjump replied to matthewcline's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
IMO, sarcasm has no place when discussing safety concerns. But that's just me. even if it wasn't a sarcastic post, it is still a safety concern when a student who is under instructor supervision has 3 cutaways in thirty jumps -
care to eleborate? Sure - I'll try to describe.... After the canopy is cocooned, I kneel on the slider grommets with both knees and create one fold by bringing the canopy up on top of my thighs. After this fold is made, compressed and under control I move my knees off the slider and place this fold on top of the slider/warning label area. This effectively gives a single s-fold which is then put in the bag. I don't try this with any canopy bigger than a 135, but I like it because I find the canopy easy to control and I never have to lie, sweaty on the center cell! cool thanks

Thanks for your info. My first post was to be taken sarcastically, however sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet. -

I should clarify; In the cspa, after you get off student status you get your "solo" then your "A" cop. How does it work in the US? Student then A? -

Icarus Canopies after-sale service - be carefully

I agree and disagree... they can have the potential to cause a malfunction but i don't think its an "eventual" outcome -
Icarus Canopies after-sale service - be carefully

Your body position looks really wonky on opening and also your brake lines appear to have lots of twists in them, which will cause them to decrease in length.
