I have to admit- most of my sunglasses were $10 Walmart especiales!!! Before these Oakleys, $70 on Gargoyles was it. But in between, I have had probably 10 different pairs of $10 glasses. Ok, I do wear contacts. So if/when I do start jumping, will I be able to wear sunglasses? I know- not until after your tandem/aff/coach jumps (they want to see your eyes)- I mean if I ever get my A, will I be able to wear sunglasses while jumping? Is this a tradition at most DZ's? I've seen comments about getting pied after your 100th jump, but this is the first referance to doing it naked. I'm curious. Up until recently, it was $70 on Gargoyles. But I found a pair of Oakleys that I love. The MSRP is $310- but I know a guy who owns a Surf Shop, so I got them for $225. My wife thinks I'm absolutley crazy- but I look at it as an investment. It's something I'm going to use pretty much everyday for years. So what's the most you have ever spent on sunglasses? And am I nuts?
