  1. I clearly misread your comments. I think we're actually in agreement, my apologies. I have been through the abortion issue, but not when it was illegal, and we were BOTH part of the decision. I also felt her decision carried a lot more weight than mine. It was the right decision for us and where we were in life at that time.
  2. Maybe the women would have a different view of making decisions about THEIR bodies?
  3. I'm reminded of the BCG's in the military.
  4. Suddenly wondering how I can NOT go to corporate headquarters again. Fuck Texas.
  5. Interesting thought - I hadn't considered the civil aspect, given the Texas focus on it being criminal. If I cross state lines and do something legal in that state, I didn't think another state could prosecute for something illegal in a state you weren't in at the time of the "crime". Land of the free my ass. I'm embarrassed at what America is becoming.
  6. No legal path for Texas to prosecute anything beyond State lines - this might be interesting. Good for her. Insane state of affairs in US these days.
  7. THAT is funny. Yet uncomfortable to have to deal with in regards to the children. I had always told myself to never lie to my girls. This made for some quite difficult discussions at times. The will STILL come to me with those difficult discussions about EVERYTHING. I'm thankful for that.
  8. The republicans that refuse to allow a woman to cross state lines for that medically needed abortion will allow someone to cross states to commit murder like Rittenhouse did.
  9. Given that he already paid ALL arrears, and has a pretty clean criminal record.....I doubt he will do time.
  10. Let's hope the Justice Dept. can still find those at fault and prosecute them to the full extent of the law.
  11. Meanwhile....Toyota has a 700 mile range battery and expected to increase that to 900+ within the next couple of years. It fully charges in 10 minutes. Solid-state batteries (as opposed to lithium-ion batteries, which use a liquid electrolyte) are regarded as a potential turning point for EVs. They have the power to reduce charging times, increase capacity, and reduce fire risk.

  13. Translated: I didn't read a damn thing you posted, but I'm still right and you're wrong, so neener neener. Grow. The. Fuck. Up. <blocking:y, uname:bh, persistent:y>
  14. Federal funds for fuel retailers? Federal Aid Highway Act of 1921 was considered a large Federal contribution of funds to support gas stations. PPP funds for fuel retailers? $380 BILLION???? Numerous States have provided funding for fuel stations to replace and upgrade fueling equipment. SBA provides low interest loans to gas stations. huh....it's just too easy. Every. Damn. Time. So yeah, ZERO efforts by some to investigate or put any effort into anything besides the "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING AND NOTHING WILL FIX THE WORLD SO I DON'T CARE YOU'RE ALL WRONG AND THE PLANET IS blah blah blah blah blah blah" Trolls gotta troll.
  15. Daibes also signed “property release forms” to get the gold back, which certified that the stolen goods belonged to him. They also found his fingerprints on an envelope containing thousands of dollars in cash in the home of the people he gave the gold bars to. Like Trump's legal problems, the evidence seems to lead to nothing but guilt.
  16. Given the attitude displayed, I wonder if he puts forth any effort towards improving anything in his life. Seems like a solid, violent, hell no. Just to piss everyone else off. No logic, no science, just selfishness. Seems like an angry and only child's approach.
  17. Speaker of the House?!?!?! Protecting criminal insurrectionists??? What in the living hell is happening??? Is Congress part of the Judicial Branch. I know I wasn't sleeping through that class...wow. Come on Americans, we MUST save the democracy.
  18. BREAKING; James Comer announces that they have found proof that Christmas presents Hunter Biden received in 1976 Were actually from Joe Biden And not in fact from Santa Claus Several elves are expected to give depositions
  19. This place is so nucking futs sometimes.... Happy Harley Days!
  20. IIRC, he was troubled that his original comments were misconstrued.
  21. Al Jaber told reporters Monday, “I have always been very clear on the fact that we are making sure that everything we do is centered around the science.” “I honestly think there is some confusion out there, and misrepresentation and misinterpretation,” he said, adding, “I have said over and over that the phase down and the phase out of fossil fuel is inevitable. In fact, it is essential … it needs to be orderly, fair, just and responsible.”
  22. The 2 current sides are in no way similar IMO. Biden has continually proven he can and IS doing a damn good job at POTUS. Yeah, he's old. He still exercises, runs, is damn sharp mentally, and actually has a soul and shows feelings. Trump is a traitor who wants to end our democracy. Oh, and he's a rapist. And facing HOW MANY FELONY CHARGES???
