  1. I have long thought it is quite a stretch to consider Roseanne an actor. I thought she was just a basic standup comic that "played" herself on her one show. Meh.
  2. I've long preferred "FloriDUH", and I'm a Floridian. Floriduhian?
  3. The Find Out part of the anti-reality movement is sometimes laughably interesting.
  4. removing traitors who commit espionage IS very American. Where is the Russian file? What nuke secrets did Trump sell to Saudi???
  5. My F250 diesel had a factory engine warmer plug. Better than most commercial diesels that are left running for hours in the cold.
  6. In January 2024, Volkswagen announced that test results of a prototype solid-state battery retained 95% of its capacity after driving 500,000 km.
  7. Toyota must have heard the Brenting: Last year, Toyota and oil refiner Idemitsu Kosan, said they would tie up to develop and mass produce all-solid-state batteries, which they aim to commercialize in 2027 and 2028, followed by full-scale mass production. "We will be rolling out our electric vehicles with solid state batteries in a couple of years from now," said Vikram Gulati, the India head of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. It "will be a vehicle which will be charging in 10 minutes, giving a range of 1,200 kms (750 miles) and life expectancy will be very good".
  8. She has yet to learn anything. Maybe prison will help? These people leave me speechless.
  9. Per Hagerty: Not so much...some projects just aren't worth the time and effort. It's interesting how desperate to sell some guys will get when you decide not to make an offer on their vehicles. I've had a few of them call and call to damn near beg me to buy.
  10. That explains the 50's bumpers.
  11. Art and architecture. That's where.
  12. Wait till he hears about Studebaker. They wasted $4000 trying to make and sell electrics. Or Hudson! They refused to make electric cars and look where that got them!! neener neener!!
  13. 2023 was the last year Chrysler made big block motors. They are pushing their electric models like they did the Hemi line. The winds they are a changing.
  14. Because it's better. Why refuse to acknowledge technical improvements??? That shit in the ground won't last forever either. I'm a pretty hardcore motorhead, currently have an old pickup I/m restoring and improving. I love the old stuff. I also love technology and have long been fascinated by the things humans can accomplish. Electric, solar, wind, and hydro power generation for a ton of industries is a good improvement.
  15. Synthetic lubricants reduce friction, heat, and noise. I swear by it in all 3 holes on the Harley. They can also provide leak detection on older vehicles as they help to remove the sludge that is sealing weakened sealing surfaces.
  16. Added advantage of owning a boat is writing off "some" highway fuel taxes every year. When I was a competitive kneeboarder, I towed every day. I HAD to be on the water everyday.
  17. Goal posts on wheels, SOP for some of the naysayers.
  18. I remember seeing them ride them into town on Saturday, park them in a lot where the horses were fed and given water, and the owner went and got his ICE out of a storage garage and ride around town.
  19. I pulled an owner permit and did mine myself. Saved a LOT of money.
  20. Those damn charging parking slots at the grocery store though. Why can't I park my antique truck where I want to??? At least I don't have a hand crank starter.
  21. https://www.newsweek.com/republican-brags-sabotaging-border-security-deal-1854820 At least some of them are admitting it.
  22. It's about damn time toddlers started carrying. Local authorities and politicians won't protect them, their parents send them into deadly school environments every day! Good to see them defending themselves. /s
  23. Palestinians should behave in their cages. You'd think by now they would have learned that. Israel should stop their foo, or electricity, or water, or homes, or .... The 2 State plan is insane, and both sides are at fault.
  24. From what I read about his assets, specifically a number of his properties, those assets have fairly recently transferred ownership to other family members. Rudy will not like seeing how the courts claw back his properties. Judge stated yesterday the claimants can start going after his assets immediately. Welcome to Find Out Rudy.
  25. Hey Jerry, Just wait, two weeks! Mark
