You can buy them in a Harley Davidson Shop. No shit!

In Germany you can get 16Mbit DOWN/1Mbit UP for about 40$ 24h reconnect BUT If you want a faster upstream it's very expensive!

awww.. If I would have know that earlier I would have contacted you and we could have done it in REAL. Is your boat 130ft long?

Our deadline was not moveable anymore, so we did it the "dirty way" and rendered the live action inside the scene.. Had some advantages and some disadvantages, but at least everything got finished..
-
Absolutly right.

Good point taken. That's the reason why I convert to basejumping very soon All CG because we had a very small budget and couldn't afford to do everything in real.. and it wouldn't be possible to get the shots in those conditions.. Max

We started out with Maya, but then quickly converted to Softimage XSI due to our internal workflow. We started producing it at the end of November 06 and finished it end of May 07. We did the live action takes in February and then integrated the captures into the scene.. This is a speculative spot, so it's produced without any support from greenpeace (except the yellow jackets ) Thanks for your feedback Max

Hey everyone, here is a 30 sec clip I produced for Greenpeace (SPEC). It's heavy CGI with some live elements.. I hope you like it

Hey, Had the same thing happen to my Neptune last year.. It just restarted when I was in freefall at 9000ft.. Still had my Protrack and my Timeout in my helmet, so it wasn't a big deal. If all 3 fail, I still have my eyes ;)

There is so much more exciting stuff than skydiving, that it never becomes "routine" to me. It has always been a special hobby and it will always be. No matter if you do a solo or a 12way headdown jump, you can always learn something and improve your skills. It may get boring, if you have no goals in the sport and no people to jump with.. But that is with every other sport the same.. It always depends on your attitude and your ambition to make things happen. I think every skydiver has to set his priorities, for some its living for the sport and dedicate every minute to it, for others there are other things more important in life (like having a a good job first and then having the money for skydiving ;) ) You sure get used to it and, but if you lose your sensation for skydiving you should better quit, IMHO.
