I have HP photo and imaging...it came with my scanner...i was wondering if/how i can make the pics i scan smaller like in pixels or whatever so i can use them as my icon. when i try using the pics as an icon it says it is too big and must be 65 x 75 pixels or like 10 kb big...i don't know how to do it.

Not moving...have BT for Army Aug-Oct in Georgia and then will be in Texas Oct-Dec for AIT. My bro is at his AIT now and said you get to leave on weekends and stuff, so I thought I'd bring my rig and jump in Texas while I'm there.

OK...my post was simply to let cbrumett know that he was going to get a lot of advice he wasn't looking for. (See it's true...this post, part of hookitts post and even the moderators post have nothing to do with his question.) I know this from personal experience and reading thru other newbies posts that were responded to by those with more experience. is there gear to rent at your dz? IMHO buying a rig first off is a waste cuz your just gonna downsize soon anyway. but everyone else on here will tell you to never downsize. just do what you want and what your instructors think you should do. all your gonna get from people here is a bunch of rubbish that wasn't related to your question in the first place. but seriously...rent stuff would be best until you have some more jumps.

OK...I guess this post didn't produce the info I was looking for . I was merely wondering what kind of canopy to buy, not whether or not I should stay at my current WL. Thanks for everyones concern though. Yes, I do know diveout thinks I should stay on my S2 135, he's told me that. At the same time there's at least five other people at my DZ saying I'd be fine. Anyway, it comes down to my decision, whether it be a good or bad one and I've put 9 jumps on the impulse now and like it a lot and almost have my S2 sold, so yeah I guess until I scare the shit out of myself I'll go with this one. I'll just have to put up with people asking why, I think I'll go with "just because".
