  1. Hello to the active duty military out there!! How do you think your commander will view an injury substained while skydiving on "off Duty" time. I now and then get a rash of Siht about my incidents skydiving. I have had medical officers say my injuries should be LOD No!. I disagree and believe senior leadership up to and including General Petraeus would disagree. Whom himself suffered "off duty" skydiving injuries as a 0-7. I suppose a SSG should have more control of the wind speed, direction and consistantcy than any other person. What do you think? How will your commander view your "off duty" activities in the event you are injured because of circumstances they themselves cannot control.
  2. A typical person arriving at SWC is going to see a fairly large group of people smiling, laughing, and enjoying life in general. You would greeted with professionalism and personalized care to meet your needs. IE: Visitor, Tandem, Aff, S/L, Experienced. You will be treated with respect. Without greed in mind, we are there to have a good time, as we always do!. However the good times are not free Our DZO Jamie needs our support if we wish to continue to Skydive Wayne County. See You at Skydive Wayne County!\\ Tim Hicks
  3. Sure dude the more secure place to be right now is the military. Should you choose that route good luck to you, go active duty and be the best you can you are young enough to still retire at young age.
  4. Thanks for posting this I was unware of it, but I thought it had already passed. Yes it is great to get permissive TDY to go skydive.
  5. No!! definetly not!!!! service to our country comes first, We have sworn to defend the constitution and uphold it. Skydiving is secondary to our mission. Be proud and be there!!!
