  1. Hmmm...I've just gone to buy a spanking new ipod and they're offering free engraving, 2 lines , 29 characters on each line...any thoughts? I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  2. I run a catering firm in the South of Engand and I've just had an enquiry to cater for a wedding at the wind tunnel centre in Bedford...what a sweet idea! Anyone know who it is? are they jumpers or whuffos with a sense of humour?! I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish

  6. Hi, I think this is the right forum; I'm looking to get back into the sport (life!) after a 2 year absence...but I have a couple of pribs: 1. I've lost my log book...I do however have a video of the first 8 of my AFF jumps. 2. When I start again, i'll be jumping in the UK, for the first time. I've only ever jumped in NZ and my expired license is issued by the NZPIA. Other than that, you might need to know that I'm pretty rookie (40ish jumps) and obviously very uncurrent. Any help/advice would be brilliant as I really want to relive the best times of my life. thanks. ps. I'll be looking for a dropzone in the south-east of england (preferably kent, but not necessarily headcorn) I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  7. Don't be crazy dude...stick with it, i'm sure you've guessed that its worth the wait. ps. learn to play hacky...it can help pass the time I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  8. So sorry for the massively late reply mate...I've been away and am catching up on old news! Please do say hello to Jackie if she's still around, but I'm sure she must have had to go and get a job at some point...she's the ultimate dz bum!! I did do my AFF there last year, had the time of my life end ended upo staying and jumping my ass off for another month or so. In my opinion you couldn't have picked a better place; great dz, great people and a wicked little town to boot. Have fun and say hello to the Holy Cow for me. Blue Ones, Matt I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  9. Does anyone know what the situation is in the UK regarding currency (I have about 40 jumps and haven't jumped for nearly a year)? I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  10. For years I thought Madonna was singing 'last night I dreamt of some dago...'! I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish

    UK Videos ?

Does anyone know any skydive / BASE video distributors in the UK? If so, would they be cheaper than buying online from the US? Any help is appreciated! Matty I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  12. Cypress...like our old DZ cat! I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  13. Good on ya mate!! Was Geoff your instructor by any chance?...also is a really tall Dutch bird by the name of Jackie still hanging around Taupo? I may be gullible but at least I have a magic fish
  14. A Smokejumper from Alaska was in Taupo, NZ trying to complete AFF at the same time as me. Having looked at the conditions those guys are used to jumping in, I can understand why he was a tad frustrated at not being able to get any further than AFF2 because of 12knot winds!!
