In the original post of this thread its refers to a footnote stating info came from USPA. Surely every jump is logged by them? The BPA must log drop numbers? Every lift is manifested, records are kept whose says these numbers are not passed onto the powers that be? I dont want to start conspiracy theories but maybe "people" dont want the actual numbers released.

I am sure at the end of each day/week every dz knows how many drops have been made? I dont think it makes a difference what kind of jump it is, tandem, first jump or experienced. They all count as a drop?

I broke my heel bone, cant remember correct name! I spent 6 weeks in plaster, 3 weeks resting after it was taken off and jumped on week 10 on a larger canopy for a nice soft landing. Thats was two weeks ago done another couple since and I feel good.

From when I started reading this site there has been lots of talk of statistics, how about we get all get together and start up a REAL statistical database? According to dz.com there are 617 dz's in the world at least one person from each dropzone must know about this site and read it?! Lets do something about it rather than moan when we are misquoted by outside organisations. Can a page be added to each dz on the dz.com dz database?

Howdo, at Hibaldstow (30 miles from york) there are a few big fellas. I think they did the wraps course (static line progression). I know they have one rig that would be suitable for your weight. How about cleaning if your reserve and cypress is still in it? I pilled in on a recent jump, I tried a hard brush to remove the dirt and tried some stain stuff on the leg straps. Neither worked very well. I dont really want to take it to rigger as I am selling it, but it could do with once over. Suggestions please?
