    opinions for a cherry jumper

The new RPC is of a different design than the previous one. There was no service bulletin because there is no requirement to change it. How long ago was the issue you had at your DZ? I have seen one video of a RPC in tow when the jumper was belly to earth and that video is 10 or so years old with a subterminal deployment on a 250sqft ish reserve.

As seen Wings gets a lot of hate from people that aren't up to speed. Everything they said as a rigger is valid. The issues with the reserve pilot chute has long been fixed.

    New RI mard? Riggers?

This is all you have to do now... Unhook for crew and then hook it up when finished. You answered your own question on this one.

    New RI mard? Riggers?

Not sure if you read detecting as detaching but what you say is basically what I was going for. Since tension is the only force applied, the MARD relies on it. Whether that be tension on the RSL lanyard on from the PC.
  5. 3+ year old post, make sure you check this when using search.

    New RI mard? Riggers?

This one also requires detecting if the bridle is under tension.

    New RI mard? Riggers?

This looks very close to what Wings uses. Having machined mechanical joints is an interesting choice.

Community needs to be below skydiving and skydiving disciplines. That place is mostly a cesspool.

Dropzone Site Launch & Bugs Megathread

Basically we can see what the last post was on and if it was new. However we cant see if there are other new posts or new threads. If the last post is on a thread we don't care about we still need to click on the section to open it and see if there are other posts/threads. If there is only 1 post and we can see its on a thread we don't care about we don't need to open the section.

Credit where it is due. The new changes to the layout are much much better on desktop and mobile. On mobile we don't really need to know how many views and replies there are. It would be more useful to see when the last reply was so we know it is new. Even then, the blue dot is a good enough indicator that there is a new post. As for IE I cant comment, it may just be a difference in configurations.

Here are a couple more. Stickies are in their own area, most don’t need to see these every time we visit. Discussion shows what should be displayed.

Here is an example that is much better.

Another thing on mobile. There is way to much extra space. The sticky posts alone take up multiple screens worth of space.

    Smoke

I’ve never had issues with the Enola Gaye. It’s huge in the airsoft community. It is also “coldsmoke” so there is no external flame.

I had to download google chrome just to be able to respond to this because the cross platform compatibility is terrible. My DZ's account was one of the beta testers and I am one of the people that has access to it. See attached pictures. 1. Why would you make everything so big and clunky? When you upgrade sites you should streamline things. You really should have topics and posts in the same row and different columns. There is also way to much white space. Compared to BASEjumper (please leave it alone) this is worse than it was. 2. Doesn't even work in internet explorer. 3. Mobile isn't terrible. At least you can see the descriptions of the forums on mobile. It is nice you made it mobile friendly but again, the amount of information per inch is so much less than before, very bubbly and lots of white space. 4. This was typed in google chrome, just fyi. 5. Classified, the most useful thing on this site is now under the "more" tab. 6. I do appreciate the try at an update, but the way it was structured before was much more user friendly. 7. The new profile page is very nice. I like the customization.
