  1. We're hearing a lot of justifications from the "No" voters. How about we hear from some of the four people who have voted "Yes"? Tell us why you think the MOH is justified for Kyle.
  2. Wow! 53-year old World Parachuting Championships video!
  3. So you're saying that Obama does NOT select and appoint chosen people who will help him accomplish his goals? That's what all presidents do. It's no surprise. I don't know why you would decline to acknowledge this truth.
  4. Ok then. What about the Confederacy? They weren't massacring innocent civilians.
  5. "Congress launches Medal of Honor campaign for ‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle" "A Texas congressman introduced a bill Thursday that would ask the president to posthumously award the Medal of Honor to Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL whose life was chronicled in the movie “American Sniper.” Rep. Roger Williams, Texas Republican, said Kyle should receive the Medal of Honor for his actions during Operation Iraqi Freedom that saved “countless American lives.” Story: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/feb/26/roger-williams-wants-medal-honor-chris-kyle-americ/?_sm_au_=iMVPTn3r7ffrnQ3N
  6. Fortunately, freedom for the citizenry, is not determined by what makes the family of cops feel safe.
  7. Obama appoints like-minded heads of government agencies to do his bidding in his way. Sounds like a catchy sound-byte there, Big Guy. And it's true.
  8. Obama appoints like-minded heads of government agencies to do his bidding in his way.
  9. Not defending the Klan. They were terrorists just like ISIS. The difference is, the Klan were outlaws within their country. ISIS, on the other hand, established their own "country" and they are the rulers and law-makers of that country. The Klan was acting contrary to the law, and ISIS thinks that mass-murder is okay within the law.
  10. You are on your own on that one. They don't like the color? Most armor piercing ammo has a steel bullet coated with copper. The copper is just a thin layer to prevent direct steel-on-steel contact with the barrel which would wear the barrel out in no time at all. The M855 ammo in question here has a regular lead bullet, with a tiny steel tip on top of the lead, coated in copper. So it's called "armor penetrating" rather than "armor piercing", because it generally doesn't have the capability to go all the way through armor. At 62 grains in weight versus 55 grains, it looks just like regular .223 ammo to the eye, so it's given a green tip to identify it. Target shooters like it because the extra weight allows the bullets to maintain their velocity better over longer distances. If the government bans this because it might penetrate a bullet proof vest, then that changes the standard for how "armor piercing ammo" is defined. Regular lead hunting rounds like .30-06, .308 and .270 will also penetrate a vest, because of their high velocity. So if Obama is successful in stretching the rules on this .223 ammo, expect hunting ammo to follow thereafter. And once again they're proposing to change the law by executive fiat, rather than by legislation debated by our representatives. This kind of uncontrolled government action is an even greater threat to our freedom.
  11. Re: "Why don’t Americans realize ISIL executions look awfully like the thousands of lynchings that happened on their soil?" Here is why they are not alike. In America, lynching was against the law, and those who did it were criminals. If and when the perpetrators were caught by the government, they were imprisoned for their crimes. ISIS on the other hand, IS the government, and they approve of mass murder in the name of their law, and consider it perfectly legal. The perpetrators are celebrated as heroes. See any difference between the two? Shame of this author for trying to equate the two as equal.
  12. "NJ drops gun charge against retired teacher over centuries-old flintlock gun" http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/02/26/nj-prosecutor-drops-gun-charge-against-retired-teacher-over-centuries-old/ Now, how about changing the law so it doesn't apply to antiques, so such travesties don't happen again.
  13. I haven't myself, but I know several people who have, and came back to skydiving. It CAN be done.
  14. Will Barack's Justice Dept investigate his old buddy Rahm's Police Dept? Not bloody likely.
