Yes, I can confirm that. Seems that ZP-fabrics has been changed in 2013. Canopies made bebore 2013 have much thicker ZP. This difference can be noticed at PD, NZ, Skylark. New Valkyries with 50-100 jumps looks like old shit, comparing to "old" Velos with 500-600 jumps.

wrong. when you transfer from VE to VK, or from VK to PE, it is reasonable to do not downsize - because your WL is ALREADY 2.4 and higher and you ALREADY expereinced enough to do not ask this questions at dz.com :) but when you transfer from KA to VE it is not very smart to keep same canopy size. as for me, I transfered form SkylarkOdyssey wl1.85 to VE103 wl2.0. I found VE fucking fast and sharp and...... but only for ~20 first jumps. VE became boring and I had to add weightbelt to make wl2.15-2.2

velo for sure. start at wl2.2

odyssey is pretty nice canopy but it it is not reasonable to fly it with 1.4-1.5wl. The best WL for Odyssey is 1.8-1.9. With low wingloading you will not see any differense with semi-elleptical wings like Sabre or Magellan. I had Skylark Magellan 130, Odyssey 130 (wl 1.6) and Odyssey 120 (wl 1.7-1.8). Ma130 and Od130 flyes almost similar. Od120 with wl1.7 was faster and more agresive. [email protected] is much more interesting wing. I beleive I found an answer - according to PD-Canopix3D sail fabric used only for inner ribs and it can be white or black, x-braces are regular zp.

true, but Skylark do not makes custom sliders, Skylark makes RDS for their own canopies only (Scirocco, Odyssey, etc.) and I'm not sure that Scirocco's RDS fits Velo or FW. I have Scirocco's RDS and it is 1/5 times larger than Velo's. And when I attached Skylark RDS to my VE103, I've got soft and looooong openings. It was a real problem to make slider fall down to risers.

this big "valkyrie" logo on white cell is only for pd demo canopy or I can order VK with it? I asked my local dealer about checks - he said I can order VK without any checks or recommendations. Money is all I need to make an order :)

imho the best view for SELF analysis you can get when mount your camera on your knee. set wide-angle, 60fps and you have full info - your hands, chest, eyes, legs, front and rear risers. you can see how fast or how slow do you turn, full turn dynamics and most of mistakes. second view ofcourse is ground-camera.

have [email protected] with rds-slider. openings are fast and smack. slider is copy of original PD. tried skylark scirocco rds-slider - openings are the same.

bingo! pull right out of the door OR wait 5+ seconds to reach terminal velocity. If you pull after 2-3 seconds, airspeed is too low so deployment is not stable, you can get twists, turns, snivels, etc.
