Really all that humidity helps get it in the bag easier. We live in Colorado where it's dry, dry, dry. Yes, the humidity will zap energy when packing, so drinking lots of water is a must. Making sure jumpers are in a slot that's going to work for them is the most important thing. I don't think you'll have a problem at the Convention. I've watch you under canopy and you're doing a good job. When I jump out at FRSD, I'm always heads up, cause I hate that landing area. We did have two minor injuries on Saturday. When I left on Sunday, so far no body had gotten hurt. BTW, you need to PM Michael. Count on Michael and myself. Michael falls fairly fast, so I'm going to volunteer him for the base. I have a "little" bit of experience with big ways, so I "think" I can handle just about any slot. I didn't take my kids to the DZ if I didn't have to. For me, going to the DZ was a break away from everything. I understand where airtwardo is coming from. You can't enjoy yourself when you are thinking about the kids in the back of your mind. My vote is for you to get a nanny for the day. Maybe once in awhile take them out with you, on a day you know you'll only make one or two skydives so they can watch dad jump. There was never a plan to build a smaller tunnel near the existing tunnel. Last time I spoke with the powers that be, I was informed that the plan was to build a smaller tunnel near the entrance of Universal Studios. This tunnel would be smaller with lots of area where the tourist could watch other tourist flying.
