Being with a group of jumpers that are all working towards the same goal in the same environment is the way to go. (less distractions than if you are at your home DZ) You'll learn more than just how to fly your body with the seminars they offer. Plus the tunnel time is a great way to learn. (two minutes of flying time compared to 60 seconds) The flight times in the tunnel are divided into blocks so you don't get too tried. I have close to 3000 skydives and wish there had been these kinds of events when I was first learning. It sure would have saved me a ton of frustration. Yes, and a good time was had by all. I suggest that anyone, cancer survivor or not, come to the event. Tony did a great job organizing the event and the positive vibe was like electricity. Not to mention how nice it was to meet other cancer survivors and share experiences. Only another survivor can relate to the humor and the sorrow experienced while going through cancer treatments. It was great meeting all those people that had the same fighting spirit I had.

Michael, I'm so glad that you posted something about the jump. Neil worked hard to be able to pull this stunt off. No need to post the video, I saw it live. Way to go Snug Fit. Snug said it was his first balloon jump, and brought beer. But did he really do a balloon jump? I think not, he rappled first, so really, there wasn't a jump involved.
