I wondered the same thing.....then drove by today.....there is a reason there is no phone number..... I'm sure it will be beautiful once the walls around the tunnel go up. The crew men I spoke with did confirm that they have tested the tunnel and there have been people flying in it, but it looks a long way off from the construction being done. I asked the workers if it will be complete by mid Aug and they laughed. I suggested that they work 24/7 cause We WANT them to open..open..open.. The location is great: 15 min for OAK 45 min from Marin County and a bus stop 2 feet away from its front door. I can't wait!

Here is the update: I showed up at 8AM and was told: 1.) they were going in alpha order (I would be at the end) 2.) once we got through one judge, they needed jurors in another court room across the street, so if we were rejected in one court...we would have to still go to another that day. 3.) plan to be here today and tomorrow possibly. I "faked" deathly ill and kept running to the bathroom...I nice court lady rescheduled me for next month and I was at work by 9AM I do feel bad about not serving today and lying, however I will fulfill my duty next month. I got mine way in advance, so it's my own fault by not reading the small print about being on "stand by" for 2 days after your "date to appear". I'm just an idiot looking for some advice

I got a notice to appear in the mail for today. Last night I called in to the recording and they said I was on "stand-by" for 48 hours and to check on the recording tonight. I checked and they are asking me report at 8AM Tomorrow.....problem is that I can show up at 8AM, but I really need to be at an important appointment at 11AM...... I just didn't realize they could extend my service time (it does say it in small print)... So I need some good illness or something to tell them I have to get them to let me off...any ideas. P.S. I know this is my Civic Duty, so please do not "flame me". What will happen if I just don't show up? and I call to re-schedule on the date I'm supposed to show? It's a long story, however I really can't make it tomorrow and I'd like to due my duty another time though.

FYI: The sunrise jump has been postponed until further notice, due to weather We did one last year, which was sooo beautiful and a bunch of fun!!! Ralf will schedule one for when the weather is better and NOT after a night when people will be out late and be drinking. And yes, we were jumping all day at Lodi last Monday
