ahhhhhh just had the pleasure of snagging a freebag for a friend yesterday at crazy crew. when you grab a freebag, you realize just how fast you are flying forward! (and it looks pretty cool when you're shooting video at the same time too) i made one pass on the main............... and demurred. it was still flopping / flailing and inflating sporadically. looked like black death waiting to me. i've cought a few mains, but only when they are a compact mass and i can grab them with a toe stab as fly by. anything that gets higher than my ankle is jettisoned. be safe craig f

pasi best of luck with the continuing history. my personal experience 1. brief biplane at Bridge Day 86 or 87 with a guy from ohio named tracey? 2. 30 second plus 2 stack - biplane - side-by-side from one half of a dome in 87 or 88 with a dude now living in Oz. 3. same year, same site, biplane rot's on the way to the meadow with another friend 4. unintentional, (blush), very brief 2 stack with a friend at BD ~ 1988. sorry, but i was never real good at loging, so no firm dates available. can't provide other names on this forum without their permission. contact me if you wish. sorry i missed you a Lake wales last turkey day Congratulations! my preferences at t.v. when jumping an; unvented F-111 canopy = mesh vented F-111 canopy = no expereince ZP top skin canopy = sail (mesh = ouch!) preferred configuration = F-111 with mesh i also like to use a "slag", a sleeve / bag made of spandex that i pull over the canopy. it seems to work well to inhibit center-cell-stripping without effecting on-heading performance, ( i do not pull the slag ove the nose). i recently saw this video broadcast on cable tv. it had an amazing shot of a two way going off a sweet wall where it looked like they opened within about 6 feet of each other. the pov was the low guy with a helmet cam facing bacwards. no shit, it seemd like the top guys foot was less than 6 feet away from the low guys head while he was getting straightened up by opening shock that was either; 1. some extremely precise timing 2. good luck 3. amazing ground based zoom technology anybody got any further info on this? is there a full length video of this trip? i know how i'll be spending some of my MN severance package. kleggo base 93

i need a weight "garment" suitable for carrying 30 - 35 pounds of lead. i only do CReW. Yes, i'm aware weight can be added to the rig, but let's only discuss vests / belts / jackets for now. Who makes something suitable for this purpose? thanks, craig

that's a pretty strong statement dont you think? which part? the one about tandem jumps being equivalent to a carnival ride???? it seems true simply by inspection. at least for the rider, not always true for the ridee. stay safe kleggo
