  1. i think if you jump a spectre allready you should realy try out the storm since its an enhanced/modified spectre-version.
  2. storm ! but if i have to chose from your list ill take the pilot.
  3. totaly agree, this sucker canopy punched my nuts several times! tried it with different packing didnt work for me either, a random propack was pure russian roulette on the cayenne light. im happy i dont have to jump it anymore since it was a rent rig, did about 20 jumps on it. or as you can read in the gearbox -> "Like torture? get one!"
  4. got a tandemjump as a birthday present on my 26th but didnt used it instead i upgraded that ticket into an AFF-course :P for me the tandem was just to expensive and i wanted to jump on my own, i dont like the idea beeing stuck to someone in the air and dont have control on my own, the adrenalin rush i got on my level1 was the best i got EVER i was smiling for 3 days. also had some nonjumping years cause i was living in the alps and set the priority to paragliding, im workin on more jumps ;)
  5. well ive been there 2 weeks ago and they didnt say anything about 80$ for the first. i didnt liked queenstown and left there after a few hours, just not my place to be its just a touristic meltdown (yes even more than the glaciers), later i was very surprised to see the dropzones at the glacier franz/fox got the normal NZ ticket price not that bad view either ... otherwise i dont think its possible to find a dropzone in NZ with a bad view :P so enjoy the view and jumping in NZ once you jumped in europe you know what i mean /runs and hides
  6. NZD i cant remember the exact amount maybe 64 NZ Dollars normal prize in NZ is in the 40's.
  7. You certainly sound worried...and rightfully so. I'm sure we ALL were worried when we started out. It's natural. As John mentioned...fear-unknown go hand-in-hand. You'll get over it. 99% of us do. its new its unknown and your mind suprizes you with weird stuff - why im here why im even doing this - its the raptile part of our brain that does it, for me this was hard during the first 1-3 jumps i realy asked myself is this the right thing for me? but could turn it to pure joy after the first 10-15 jumps and didnt had that feeling anymore, not even after nearly 2 years nonjumping. since there are plenty of students that dont continue jumping after every course i think thats the keypoint some cant turn it into pure joy and the stress kicks them out of the sport. i think once u got the joy it wont leave u anymore, you need it :) your bankaccount regrets it !!!
  8. sell it to a eastern europe country they hack the AAD and its working for another 20 years or go the legal way and buy a new one and get 100bucks bonus for the old
  9. i wanted to do it but over 60dollar for a solo ticket quickly made my decission ;) queenstown is a money makin machine !
  10. hej folks, next month i will be on the south part of NZ, which dropzone can u recomend? is it possible to rent a rig since i dont carry one with me.
  11. this helmet fits like a glove had to drill two holes in it for a cameramount and i was surprized how thin it was. using it for skydiving and speedflying. but as others mentioned earlier, DOUBLE CHECK THE SIZE, i was happy i could return my first order.
  12. great videos here guys, got another one not a skydive but my absolute favourite speedflying video by jokke sommer + base at the end. enjoy http://vimeo.com/13133797
