  1. No fee for foreigners -- the ticket to the U.S. is expensive enough. Other than that, I like the option of paying normal jump ticket until you reach a certain amount of money and afterwards jumps are free. You could even add some extra money to these first jumps as you have the chance to get organized jumps, raft dives, ... M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!

  5. There are at least two boogies in Asia (Thaiskyfestival and Laos boogie) where you are able to do probably up to 50 jumps. In addition there is a dropzone in UDON THANI (place of the last worldteam) that operates whenever they have students. You can also take your vacation for a skydiving trip. Finally you might ask grosfion (moderator of the German forum) who lived some years in Asia. Do you like your job and the people you work with? --Y if yes, i would stay and try some of the above. blue ones, M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!
  6. I doubt that you will be allowed to jump your own gear untill you have received your licence. At least for the AFF part, with instructors at both sides of the student (Level 1-3) the student harness is modified so that the instructor on the student's left side is able to deploy. They might allow you to use your own gear for the solo jumps (if it is comparable to sudent gear) which then could lead to a discount. In general I wouldn't go for a new gear at all and probably not even for used gear until you have made a couple of jumps. You will discover that right after student status you want and should be able to downsize a little from the student canopy size. So buying something upfront which you don't want to use soon after doesn't sound like a good idea. Have fun with the course!! M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!
  7. O.K. that was probably somewhat too optimistic. Last info I have, that the final editing team in Moscow was down due to some crazy flu they had. But again, this was back in April. Perhaps they put the DVD in the goodie bag of next World Team M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!
