  1. Hi all, who will attend the the ThaiSkyFestival in 2007? And who will join the 80-ways? Just curious who I will "have to" jump with. M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!

  4. I don't know if it is the cheapest setup but I personally use a Suunto X6HRM. You can log and download the heartrate and display it on a graph with altitude at the X-axis. Kind of interesting. I don't know if I still havesome graphs - if so, I post them. My personal experience had the max rate (180) at deployment level. That was, when I had around 100 jumps. I'll probably repeat it, to see if anything has changed. M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!

  7. I'll be at TSR and are right now still undecided about the 200ways. Decission will be dependant on my workload at the office. In addition there will be some fun stuff coming up at Thailand besides the usual Thai Sky festival. So it looks like I will be rid of all my holiday allready end of April. See you. 13. Well, that's kind of not possible, as it costs some hundred $ extra from Germany to fly to AUS or SAT. But thanks. M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!
  14. My biggest challenge at this moment is to get someone bring me from Houston International to Skydive San Marcos on October 26. How do I plan to overcome it: If nothing else helps - rental car. All other challenges so far are more or less money and/or time related. How to overcome them: Focus on one after the other instead of trying to achieve everything at once. 15. Hi all, after hiding this question in several threads about the SSM halloween boogie, it's now time to go public. I really would appreciate, if someone can pick me up at Houston International on Thursday, October 26 and bring me to Skydive San Marcos. Details to be discussed through PM. Thanks!!! vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!

  19. Rigerrobs description sounds more like a preparation for jumpping in Alaska than here in Germany However he is completely right with his suggestions, the number of layers might be under discussion. Personally I wear 3, sometimes 4 layers and this includes the jumpsuit. 1st: Ski/Snowboard Underwear. With all these fanca technical fabrices you can get today, they are better than the standard military stuff. 2nd. Long sleeve fleece with a long neck. 3rd (optional): wind breaker vest 4th jumpsuit. In addition: Gloves. Even in winter time I wear the newmans, sometimes together with a thin silk glove. Fullface Helmet You can also buy so-called thermal-jumpsuit which you wear underneath the normal jumpsuit. It basically looks like the old suit you where wearing for skiing. Jumping in general: As a lot of folks are good-weather-jumpers it will be alittle bit tougher to find enough people to get a load going. Also some DZs close during winter time.
